I'm Home

I feel alright, athough it feels like someone with a burning shoe kicked me in the stomach! I walked a lot at the hospital, and I am doing so as well at home. I am a little loopy....I just wanted to get on and thank yall for the kind words and the prayers! Now just pray I make it thru this week! I get my drain out on Monday...if it feels anything like when they removed the packing around it...I will surely die! Alisa

Welcome home Alisa. Everyday the soreness in your stomach will get better. I never had a drain but from some of the posts I read, it is a lot easier coming out! Good luck and God bless.

Yeah! I tried catching you on IM but you were gone before I registered you were on! I'm glad you made it through fine and I know when my drain came out it was just really weird feeling. I was lucky and had it removed the day I left the hospital. They had me growl as they took it out. Neither the nurse or I knew why the surgeon said to do it, but it does have you concentrate on something else. Dawn
