My scale is broken! (FUNNY)

I just have to share this funny story. I've never had a scale in my house, hated them. BUT I recently bought a cheap one to track my weight loss post-surgery. I weighed myself yesterday am and my weight was the same (no big deal).... Then when I woke up this morning I weighted myself again and I was 5lbs lighter. HUH? Convinced this cheap old scale isn't working, I picked it up and shook it. Stepped on it again and I weighed the same, 5lbs lighter. I stepped off of it again and noticed that the dial was going the WRONG way. After a few times of stepping on and off of it again I started cracking up! I've never had a scale go THAT way.... Every scale I've ever had goes the OTHER way (up up up). Ok so it was first thing in the morning and I wasen't quite awake ROTFLMBO. So I'm telling my mother the story in amazement and she quietly says "honey your scale is accurate and working"... I said "well how do you know ma?" She said "Because I WEIGHTED MYSELF ON IT YESTERDAY!!!" ROTFLMBO! So, tomorrow is my 2 wk mark post surgery. I have lost a total of 25lbs! with 65lbs more to go to get to goal... Totally amazing! The only "issues" i'm having in a sore tummy, carrying most my weight in my tummy I read a post on here the other day that someone got a tummy binder. Well, i have to order a special one as none of the stores have one in my size (XL) I'll get it today. In the meantime, I put on one of my control top one piece bathing suits and wore it all day yesterday and slept in it... AHHHHHHHH what a diffrence, Tummy feels MUCH better today Hugs Tamela

LOL! Isn't it nice to "think" your scale is broken because you have lost weight, rather than BREAK a scale for real??? Congrats on your weight loss! Mine is very similiar being 3 days behind you on surgery dates, so maybe I should just keep an eye on you! lol. Oh and funny scale story? Mine is solar and it sucks, so it only gets enough sunlight to work about 30 minutes a day! So I have to wait and keeping checking to see if it is on and then I run in to weigh myself. I felt like NASA yesterday when I "missed my window" and could not weigh in for the whole day!

That's funny...you're doing great. I think I've lost 14 lbs since surgery but gotta see how close my scale is to my dr's on wednesday. Have a great weekend Tammy
