Im home!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

All went well, the leak test is horrible, but the pain was eaisly controlled, it was not near as bad as I thought it would be, I have been home now for 24 hours, really my only complaint is the gas, every time I drink I get gas, and it gets pretty uncomfortable. How are yall????????

Im good... The gas is a PAIN IN THE BUTT!!!!! THAT was my worst feeling EVER. It will go away soon. Keep walking. -courtney

I am glad you guys are doing good, so am I. The gas pain is still killing me. I am finally over the diarreah, did ya'll have that too? The shakes I don't think I can tolerate anymore! Have ya'll ate anything yet? How are you getting your protein in?

Hi - Me Too!!!!! Welcome home!! I got home last evening. Had no real pain - just gas pain. I am still walking it off. Surgery went without a hitch. Thank you, God. I've had a quiet day - kinda bored, so I walked down the block a little. Cabin fever already!!! I'm on clear liquids till Monday when I get the J-P drain out. I have been sipping all day. Think I got all my liquids in so far. Doing great. All I can think about today is how proud I am of myself for having the surgery - I always said I was too chicken. My blood glucose was 108 - normal last night! That's why I did it! HOORAY for me and Everybody else!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I got home yesterday too. I'm feeling pretty good except for back pain. Do any of you have back pain? I'm just wondering if it's nothing or if I should be worried. I still have gas but mostly it comes out as burps when I'm drinking. I'm on liquids for 2 more days than pureed foods for a few more weeks. Jackie B.

I'm glad to hear that everyone is doing so well!!! My daughter Krystal W. came home last night. She had laproscopic on Monday and did real well during surgery, the only real pain that she is having is her j tube which is causing her considerable pain and discomfort. Anyone else experience this problem?
