Hey everyone, just stopping in to let you know all went well. Surgery was Friday, and except for the gas pains, I feel pretty normal. Thanks to all who posted nice messages to me. I brought all your prayers with me to the hospital, and everything went well. That's the power of prayer. Good luck to everyone who is anticipating their surgeries. No need to be nervous.....they take good care of you!! Corinne

Thanks for the good news! I am nervous, but wouldn't change this for the world. Ahhh, those gas pains. I am NOT looking forward to those! (Don't imagine the people around me will enjoy them either!) Hugs, Joni

Welcome home Corinne! So happy to hear that everything went well. I'm scheduled for 8/29, so I'll see you on the "lighter side" soon! My best wishes to you for a speedy recovery! Take care! Wendy P.S. Good luck with the gas, girl...that's one thing I'm definitely not looking forward to, especially since I really don't ever get it normally!!! LOL!

Hi Corinne, I had my surgery nine months ago and still have trouble getting that much liquids in me. Lets face it, you can't drink for an hour before a meal, can't drink during a meal, and not for at least a half an hour after a meal... so how the heck do they expect you to get 68 oz. into you? LOL...but you will be fine. Just take it easy, don't panic over the amount, if you sip most of the day, you will be fine. Oh, and yes, I still "invest" in Gas X (not as frequent as during the weeks following surgery, but still once in a while take some). Looking forward to your posting telling us that you are feeling the best you have felt in ages! Judy
