I am so excited....I am useless at work my mind just isn't here - There are so many things I want to do at home (I have several lists) and make sure this surgery does not disrupt my husband's life or my daughter's life (she is going to be a senior in high school).
I am a control freak and I want to make sure all bases are covered. I have waited so long---- I want to be healthy and now I am being given a way to succeed.
This makes my life seem surreal right now. I desire prayers and uplifting of God's touch on the surgeon and hospital staff. Thanks for this website and all you other "losers" support.
Luv Ya!!!!Pam

Thursday is going to be a big day around here, it looks like!
I have several lists too! I am disabled, so it's taking me a while to get stuff done, but hopefully, by this time next year, I will be getting around a whole lot better.
We're going to do just fine!
Love,
Joni

God Bless and Godspeed your surgical time and recovery. I send you wishes for a speedy recovery and that your surgical team be blessed by the Lord.
One thing I recommend you have when you get home- is Dial liquid soap -
or any antibacterial soap - you will find yourself washing your hands alot- and I also liked that I had it when I took my shower - as I had drains inside me ( yay- that they are being removed tomorrow!!!!) plus you really want to limit any ability for infection post surgical.
I wish you all the best!
See you on the losing side -
