My surgery is one week from tomorrow, and I can hardly sit still. I'm just this bundle of excitement and nerves. I'm also supposed to lose ten lbs. but I've been nervous overeating. How do you all stay calm up to the big day? Any hints? (I live alone, so don't tell me to do something with kids or hubby.)

Mom and I have already started setting up the living room where I will be sleeping for a few days. I still can't believe its 8 days away!! Can't wait to see you on the losing side!! Kimberly, Can you believe the day is almost here? I have a grown daughter and grown son. Both have babies on the way - daughter is due September 29, and she was ten days early with number one. So I don't feel I can lean on either of them. I really feel I'm in this alone (parents are deceased, sister lives out of state.) I have to get a grip! It just seems unreal to think that eight days from now, we'll be on the losing side! (((((((HUgs))))))) AND PRAYERS go out to you, Kimberly!

Granny, Who is going to care for you when you come home from the surgery? Do you have any friends or neighbors that might be able to help you??? Love Kimberly
