HELP!!!!!Mag citrate hasn't worked!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I took the mag citrate at 1 p.m. as directed. Since then I have had chicken broth, apple juice, cranberry juice, and almost 50 oz. of water, but no real results in the bathroom. I can't drink anything after midnight. I have to be at the hospital at 5 am. Surgery is at 7:30. Any suggestions? Am I just totally empty from not eating this week? I hear periodic gurgles, and feel a little crampy - nothing else! Help!

If you have not eaten anything for a week, you might not have anything in there. Just tell them when you get to the hospital. If they're worried about it, they'll give you an enema before surgery, that's all.

I had to use that for my UGI I had. It took a while..but once there was motion in the ocean...watch out! I am sure its coming! My surgery is tuesday...and I am taking RX strength Colayte OY!!!! Talk about Colon clense!

I agree. I thought it wasen't working for me as HOURS past without a BM and then all the sudden... WHAM ROTFLMBO
