PRE-OP SURGRY DATE OF 23RD

Hi, I am 4 days pre-op and getting a bit excited and nervouse. I have been on liquids since the 14th, and let me tell you I am tired of visiting the bathroom. Anyone out there having surgry the same day as me?

I am having surgery on this date also. I too am excited and a bit nervous.

Hi - I am having surgery on the 23rd too- definitely a little anxious, but very excited too. I feel like for the first time I am really doing something right just for me. Here's to all of us who have had the courage to pursue this even when we feel like we should have been strong enough to get there without surgery! Nuts to that- 35 years of trying should be plenty of time to teach me it ain't happening that way. Lots of good suggestions and recipes. found it on the bariatriceating.com web site which also has lots of other great things for those of us about to have an egg for a stomach.

How exciting, I am also scheduled for Tuesday. Am ready to go. Do not have to follow any diet prior so that is a good thing. And also just a regular laxative Monday after my pre-op lab work. Hi Cheryl, I am scheduled 8/23/05 RNY in Little Rock and this site has already answered so many questions and made me feel so absolutely ok with my questions and fears and individual thoughts. I have been going through mood swings and some tears and some excitement and see others have this also before surgery. This site has already been a God send for me.
