Yay me.....I rock!!!!!!!!! Ok....well atleast TODAY I did!

So yall have seen me frantically posting about not being able to stay away from carbs, and running out of time to make a skinny liver right?? WELL...today I did SOOOOOOOO well! I had about 4 ounces of lean ham lunch meat today, 2 pieces of cojack cheese and about 100,000 pieces of celery and a dab of bleu cheese dressing. Then, I drank water all day long (ok I had ONE SONI****d tea, no sweetner) and for dinner I had a chicken breast, and steamed broccoli and some fresh fruit. I am starving but I am proud of myself. Oh yeah and I took BOTH of my dogs out on a walk today in the heat...sporting my zippy new Nike shocks tenny runners. I plan to put those to good use in the very near future! If I can just do this all next week at least I will feel like I TRIED! I am still on for the 23rd, I am starting to get frantic. My severence check came today in the mail (I got laid off on the 8th but dont cry for me argentina, I was GLAD..now I am going to go back to school AND I still get to use my work insurance to have the surgery!). Anyway about the check- I will now be able to pay my portion of the surgery this next week and have that out of the way. My parents are coming to town for the week and staying in their lake house, then my mom is going to take my dad back home and come back the Sunday before my surgery. I am thankful that she will be around- she is good company when you need it, even if its listening to old stories about her travels to the Middle East and how red meat is going to kill us all and how you can never be too careful about protecting yourself from the sun and germs. ;) So I have my wonderful sweet hubby there to support me and take care of our Wonderbaby and I will have my mom there to either spur me on to walk (just so I can get away from her stories..only kidding). I just had a really friggin gosh darned root-toot-tootenist great day and I wanted to share. Alisa

My mom knows everything and has been everywhere....she has about a jillion stories alone about working for the government and the people she has met. I joke about her being annoying but in reality she is very animated and fun to listen to.

Hey there! I am FREAKING OUT.....totally...how are you??? I am going on Monday to pay my portion and then I guess its final. I am gonna do it! Today though I had a feeling that "hey you will be fine, your doctor is great, everyone says so...dont worry"....so I am trying not to worry! Whats goin on in your preop mind?

Hey girl!!! Whats goin through my mind? Well....... Im so freakin out as well. with the last min. things. just finished all pre-ops last week, need to get my protien as well. imgoing crazy of what kind to get though. my friend told me to just get the sample ones to try out. then I wond have a big vat of protien i dont like!! lol. I have mon and tues off from work and Im going to go shopping for some last min things!!! OMG here we go!!!!!!! I really cant wait though!!!!
