You don't even have to be at goal or anything. I was 3 months post-op when I started mine because there was a need in my area. Hey Trisha, Do you know if there is anyway to get a local support group listed on this site that doesn't necessarily have an 'approved' Obesity Help leader? My doctor's page has the link to here (which is how I found it) and their group has the only support group for pretty much the entire area north of Chico, Ca. We get quite the mix of doctor's orders in the group... kinda like this message board. It would be nice to let others know it existed if they went to a different city for the surgery. Dawn
