I have a date~~~08/30/2005

Hi all! I have been experimenting with this website for awhile now and I am just now getting the hang of adding info to my profile, and all that good stuff. I don't know any of you, but you all seem like one big happy family from what I've read. I went to see Dr. Cleveland in April 2005, and about fell out of the chair when the nurse gave me my surgery date this past Thursday. I was in a "happy shock". I am very excited and just a little nervous about the change. All of the sudden I feel like a prisoner on death row who is deciding what my last meal will be, lol. That's the best way I can describe it. Anyways, I hope to get to know all of you better and I will keep in touch. Have a nice day! Amanda

Hi all- Amanda you and I have the same date set! I just got my date yesterday and I am also going to have RNY on 8/30/05! I'm nevervous and excited as well. More excited though since my husband is taking over the nervous part for me! Best of luck to you!

Amanda - I'm scheduled the day before you! Exciting and scary at the same time, isn't it? My stress level is in the stratosphere right now because my insurance keeps jerking me around - still hasn't officially approved me! I wish you the best with your surgery. Hopefully we'll be on the "losing" side before we know it!

Hi Amanda, I'm an 8-30-05 RNY too! One minute I'm cool as a cucumber, the next I'm on the ceiling. I was at the mall yesterday and had to run into Ashley Stewart. They didn't have what I was looking for, and as I left I saw some of the new fall clothes (completely ignored them on the way in ). As I always get fall clothes almost as soon as they come out (to cover up the fat faster), it hit me that I may not HAVE to shop there or at Lane Bryant when fall comes around. I got a headache from that! We're in for a ride - buckle up! Michelle
