Surgery date ~ 8/17/05~

I am very happy that my surgery is August 17th. I plan to do alot of cleaning around the house before I go. I also have to email family and friends about my surgery date. On August 11th I have my last pre-op appointment with my surgeon. Then, the same day it's off to the hospital for my pre-admittance paperwork. I thank God that this is finally happening. Hi, isn't it great. I love what you said!! In his time. Girl , I'm new to this website, I think it's great, My last pre-op exam is on the 10th Aug, & my surgery is on the 18th, not sure when he wants me in there, he'll tell me. But I feel your pain, anxiety, and stress.. Matthew 6 helps me. IT sez not to worry and why! I made calls and calls putting up with all the excuses, for 3 years. My pastor told me I was putting more emphasis on the doctor doing the surgery, and not enough faith in the Lord. HE told me to quit calling and let the Lord take it, The Lord knows whatrs fixin to happen, before we do!! God Bless I quit callin' & a WEEK later, the ball started rollin' ...........I started 570lb in Jan 0f 05' now, I am around 468, thats before the surgery.....contact me if ya wanna chat, sorry no pic yet, I just got here on this site & don't have a picture i can upload yet.. Congratulations. My date is 8/10/2005 and I am excited. I've been down this road before, so I am a bit nervous. I had the vertical banded gastoplasty in 1986 and I am a bit worried about abdominal surgery after 19 years, but I am excited and can't wait until after 8/10 and getting through the surgery.
