I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOO excited!!!

I had my pre-op visit with the nurse yesterday along with labs and some other stuff done...I passed everything with flying colors...and the best part of the whole day was when I got on the scale!!! I can't believe I am saying I was excited when I was on the scale...BUT - I've lost 35.5 pounds since the second week of June! I cannot believe it!! I have been doing the modified Atkins diet that Dr. Moazzez put me on and told me I had to loose atleast 10% of my bodyweight before I come back to see him on the 17th of August! I can't wait to have my WLS surgery now!!! The nurse who interviewed me had WLS 3 years ago and is now a size 6 and she looked really good! ONLY 24 MORE DAYS UNTIL MY NEW BIRTHDAY!!!! Jill, congratulations!!!! And, an extra congratulations for loosing 35.5 lbs. before the surgery. I am having a revision from VBG to RNY, barring no problems, and will be glad when the surgeryd date is over. My date is August 10, 2005. Kathy
