to my fellow brothers & sisters having surgery tomorrow, 8-4-05, i have seen several posts about surgey tomorrow, so far, i am the earliest.....5am! don't stress, don't wory, we will all be fine! i will lead the way! i will see ya'll on the losing side! good luck! bonnie

kelli, i know we will ll be fine, we will get through this with flyin colors! with all the prayers bein said in our favor, we will have smoooooooth sailin! i did make peace with the consequences, though! i have talked to my family & told them my wishes. just bein practical! my family lives approx 18 hrs away, so they are all worried, since they cannot be here. i fully intend to talk to them tomorrow & ease their fears! i hope to hear from you soon, we can tell each other......"OUCH"!!! lol! good luck! stay calm, we chose our surgeons for a reason, now, let's trust them! see ya on the other side! bonnie

Well I was told to stop reading the message boards and quit answering the phones because I was getting a little freaked out. I had a friend of the family call me with their "concerns" about WLS yesterday and it has really put me in a funk. I have spent today trying to get back some positive vibes. Anyway your post was just what I needed. What you said about surgeons is SOO true, even those against me having surgery agree I am in good hands. So again good luck, hugs, take care etc... kelli, sugar! when these people start to tell you negative things just smile real big & say "why, thatnk you for your opinion! i have made up my mind though! i feel this is the best possible solution for me. i hope you will keep me in your thoughts & prayers (and if not....bite me!!! lol) now, you have a nice day!" never lose your smile, you know we can hear a smile over the telephone, too!!! i can have a kind of "forceful" personality. my sister had some objections, but when she realized i was not hearing what she was sayin, she became supportive. DO NOT LET these people get you down! you know what?! even if we have made the wrong choice.....it is just that.....OUR CHOICE!!! stay strong & if they keep givin ya hell, just lemme know, next time i come home, i'll whoop em!!! lol! toodles, bon
