Anyone have a surgery date for Aug 10th 2005?

Hi everyone. My date is set and I cant believe how close it is. My stomach hurts thinking about it. I am so excited and it happened so quickly. I had all my pre surgical clearances completed with the written reports in exactly 1 week, the next day signed surgical consent and off to the insurance company it went. Within 72 hours I was approved and here I sit 3 weeks after I started the process. I am the most shocked by this timing. I was set to wait. Its almost here and I was looking for a penpal. I would love to share this experience with someone besides my family and friends who knows exactly how I am feeling and can relate when they just can't. I hope everone *****ads this is well and my prayers are qwith everyone for a uneventful surgery , no complications and a speedy recovery. Rose

HI, MY DATE IS 08/10/05 TOO !!!! I AM SO EXCITED AND ALSO SO NERVOUS. I AM DOING THE OPTIFAST DIET NOW (YUK!!!) AND MISSING CAFFEINE SOOOOO MUCH (I HAVE A HEADACHE ALMOST ALL THE TIME RIGHT NOW FROM THE CAFFEINE WITHDRAWL). BUT I AM READY FOR THE BIG DAY AND IN JUST A FEW MONTHS I HOPE TO FEEL SO MUCH HEALTHIER AND ABLE TO WALK WITHOUT SERIOUS KNEE PAIN. GOOD LUCK TO YOU ON THE 10th !!!!!!!!!...............................:>)

Good Morning. I am a ball of nerves too. My mind is always going and I can't stop thinking about how my life is going to change and all the hard work that I will need to do. I am not on any specific diet. I am just increasing my fluids without and sugars of any kind and no caffiene. I am also eating alot less fiber and some protein. I really have no pains except for some back pain occasionally and a headache. For the both of us, I hope that the time passes quickly and a full, easy and speedy recovery!

Thank You for your encouragement. I know it happened so quickly. I know it is because I really wanted it to happen so I did everything that I could do. The rest I let go of and told myself it is in the hands of my doctors and insurance. I would accept what the outcome was. From there I would go further.
