I'm going in...

I have a surgery date being August 9, 2005. I am so ready for it to be here...can't wait to reach the other side of living healthy again, it's been 10 years for me.

I'm very anxious about having my surgery on August 1, 2005. It's been 15 plus years for me and I am ready to cross over to the losing side. congrats on you surgery!

I am so excited that someone out there heard me and sent me a reply. I was shy about posting messages, though I have been going on and reading other peoples messages. Thank you for the support. How long did it take you to get a response from your insurance. My journey only started on April 29th with my first visit with my surgeon. Although, it took me over a year to get to the point of taking that first step. I was so afraid of what my family was going to say. HOw about you? I am 47 years old and a mother of two daughter, ages 16 and 10. You are so close...August 1st, my prayers are now with you as well.

I got the approved from my insurance after the first letter. I considered what my husband had to say about the surgery, but I am having the surgery for me not my family. I am going throught with my surgery as planned so that I can live a healthier life.

Congrats to you. Mine is the 1st if I decide not to postpone it. Not only can't I wait to be thin again (15-18 years), the thought of losing some or most of my co-morbities as well is ... well, it's left me speechless and doing the Happy dance! Great joy & happiness to you And remember ............................................ This is the only place where losing is actually winning!
