i went to my pre surgery appt yesterday and im kinda scared now. it is an outpatient surgery and i heard it is painful. (i figured it would be,lol) He gave me a script for percocets and keflex to get filled before my surgery and to bring it with me. They said to get a few mens white hanes t shirts to put on under the binder for comfort... OH THE BINDER.....i have to wear it 24 hours a day for 3 weeks and then 12 hours a day for 3 weeks. thats the part i dont like to hear. i bet it sux??? i dont like to feel "restrained" lol... also said to wear sweatpants or something to the surgery so i can put them on after surgery. Told me to get maxipads instead of gauze pads..they are cheaper and absorb more, also some tape to hold them in place. Ill have 2 JP drains for several weeks. Also to up the protein during that time for healing. he tried to talk me into paying the 2500.00 for the "tummy tuck" but i told him i just dont have it. he said i will be disappointed with the results as its not cosmetic and that it wont do anything for the fat above the belly button. the bottom pouch off of my body and ill be happy with that. My surgery is 2 weeks from today. friday Feb 9th at 11.45. I have to be there at 9.45am. Ill get before pics, after and during pics for all of you that want them. love you all!! Kim

Wow, Kim, it's coming up fast. I think I'd be a little nervous, too, but sounds like you're seeing an experienced PS so I wouldn't worry. I'm anxious to see the before & afters. Granted, I know it will take time for everything to get to the way it's supposed to be. Looks like you're the first of us Augusters to get this done, so be prepared to tell all .... Seriously, I'll be praying for a speedy recovery. Yes, definately up your protein. You should start now. Good luck Tammy

Wow, sure hope all goes well. I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers. I am interested in the pictures as well, as I hope to be in a position to have this done probably at the end of the summer. Good luck and do well. Eileen 337/192/160ish?

Wow Kim! That is fast! I will be praying for you and wishing you a speedy recovery! But yes, please keep us posted. We are all getting to the point of wanting some kind of plastics and want DETAILS! And pictures of course! I am going to post my tummy pics on my profile soon. I will be scheduling my consult probably next month sometime after my 18 month check up. I am hoping my surgeon will give me a referral. Take care and keep us updated girl! Lori

Hi Kim, You've got me scared... sounds like a lot of stuff, but I'm sure you'll do great and I'll pray that it does. I, like everyone else, want to see the before and after pics and all the details. Buying a house comes before plastics so I'm way away from that, but I still dream. I hope everything goes great! Dawn
