I am new to the boards. I usually just lurk. I want to get more involved. I am at a plateau and a little bummed. I know I should be happy since I started at 260 and I am now at 140 but I want to reach my goal of 125. I just don't know what to do. If anybody has any suggestions, please send them my way. I had my surgery on 8/8/05

Well Welcome Adrienne! You've done super and be happy where you're at, just feel free to not settle. My biggest recommendation is to go back to basics. A week or two of being really strict at what you're eating, what you're drinking, getting in those vitamins?, and how often your exercising and what you're doing for that exercise will do wonders to jumpstart your plan again. Remember that your body gets used to anything you do regularly, including the type of exercise so mix that up. Hope to see more of ya... Merry Christmas! Hi Adrienne, Welcome!! Hope you have a great holdiay season. I'm in the same boat as you, but I know that I am doing a bit of cheating these days. I think that if we both get back to the basics, we'll see that scale move again. I've lost 110 so far and my goal is 150. I have about 34 to go. So here is to keeping each other accountable at the start of the new year. Lori 293/183/150

Thank you for the responses. I have cheated a little but not to bad. I seem to go up and down between 135 & 140. I was holding some water weight and I am now back to 135. It just drives me nuts when it goes up. I did not come this far for that! I am not sure if I am getting in enough calories either. I need to write it down and see what I am taking in. Do you have that problem?
