Hey Donna, Yes the elves are hard at work!! I got my cards for our OH family done yesterday, now I just need to get my other cards in the mail as well. I have to write my Christmas letter and get a view pics of the new house on it and get my Christmas Open House invite done and then they can be mailed. Not too big a deal, right. Well, last night I just couldn't get motivated for anything. I guess I need another Mrs. G to kick me in the butt and get things going again. I got all my shopping done and know it all has to be wrapped! I love the shopping, but wrapping can take me forever...I know that I won't wait until Christmas Eve, but I just can't seem to get motivated in the right direction. My boss is sick, my sis is sick and I am trying very hard to stay healthy by not stressing. Well, there is my struggle...stress is fueling my fire right now. Oh well, it will all get done along with the baking for the season too. I got a jump start on that on Saturday and Monday with peanutbutter cookies and peacan tassies. Neither are sugar-free, but they are for the open house anyway. Life is good and so is all this Christmas and holiday fun. I really do enjoy it, I just need to realize that Christmas is less then 2 weeks away! Okay, that put it in perspective!! Have a wonderful holiday and I hope the new boyfriend gets you something spectacular!! Let's us all know what it is...I know I'm dying to know!!!!!!!!!!! Lori

Hi Lori! I have new pictures! I will send them to you..Ive posted some-but they are are on my new website- which I have not activated yet..I forgot how to change my current picture.. And as for John, he says that people don't "fall" in love, they fall in holes. 2 people grow in love..so then I said are we growing in love and he said " like a weed baby" LOL I did hint at Fredericks for Christmas..LOL Show ya where MY mind is at!!! LOL I was telling a friend that this feels so wonderful with him and we just click on so many levels..He gives me wake up calls and just showers me with affection and love. He calls me sweetheart and I really feel I am and for the first time I feel beautiful and adored. I just can't believe its me. Like I told Connie- surgery changes us, we change our lives and the worlds we live in change as a result. We just never realize the extent of the changes. love, Donna

Oh Donna, I just read this post and I love to hear love stories. I meet the man of my dreams and we have been together 10 months now. He is the best I have ever had. I was always looking for something else. I have finally found my soul mate and I know how you feel. I wish everyone love and happiness this holiday season. You'll see us in my card/letter Diana

Hi DI!! So he makes you feel like a Princess? Can I call you Princess DI? YES! I got your Xmas Card yesterday! Isn't it great- how suddenly it really impacts you- all these changes? I keep saying that surgery changes you, you change as a result and the WORLD YOU live in, changes for the better! I wish I could be 35 again and feel the way I do now. I tried struggled so - with my weight as my son grew up- I would have been a different mother. That is my only regret..And funny thing- now that my son lives in Illinois, I wondered what I was going to do, with all my free time! LOL!! It's wonderful when dreams come to life! I thought I was the only single person out there still looking. Love comes along when you least expect it! Im mailing out my Xmas Cards today. Im going to take a picture with John at the Xmas Tree at Rock Center this weekend.. its going to be 60 degrees thru Monday! YAY!! love, Donna
