I can't believe how sexy I looked tonight and I caught more then one man looking at my cleavage! That's new for me too. YU GO GIRRRRLL !!!!! Its the best feeling in the world isn't it? I just got into a size 14 coat and then got into a Med by Liz Claiborne! I took La Liz!!! Tomorrow I am going to a family dinner- abt 35 people- only my brother, sis in law and mom have seen me - my sister has not seen me since Apr'05.. its my neice's confirmation and Im bringing Steve (my son is now relocated to Illinois) and Im wearing this black strapless dress..when I "tried it" for my mom- she was WOW THATS SEXY!!!! It's a Joyce Leslie dress- size L..& hugs me everywhere.. Plus I just had my hair color changed its now Red with blonde highlights....so I can't wait to see my family.. they aren't going to believe its me.. not to mention my older nieces and nephews ( 30s) so this should be exciting.. I just don't know whether or not to say Ive had surgery or just lost weight... I think I should say- what difference does it make- how I did it- as long as Im healthy & getting better? you know? .. And I got into size 14 jeans at Avenue (first time since 4/05) that I went there & when they asked did I want a credit card- I said NO- I WONT NEED IT- ALL YOUR CLOTHES ARE TOO BIG FOR ME NOW!!! Talk about vindication!!! LORI- KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK! I DON'T KNOW HOW YOU MADE IT INTO ONDERLAND..IM STILL TRYING TO GET THERE.. YOU HAVE COME A LONG WAY AND YUR PICS SHOW IT! Donna, Thanks so much for the encouragement. When I look at that picture, I still can't believe it is me. My collar bones really show up and that is show hard to comprehend. Getting to Onederland was so and difficult in coming, so I know how you feel. We had our work party and I danced the night away. It took 2 days to show up in my weight, but I am down to 184.5 and feel like I won't see 190's again if I keep being diligent. You will make it too, I know it. Weight loss has really slowed down for us, but it can and will continue. Thanks for getting me on the card exchange list! I will be sending my cards out this weekend and can't wait to send them. Hi Joyce, Thank you so much for those kind words. I am working hard to get to goal...I now feel like by Jan I will be in the 170s. I love life and this surgery has gotten me where I wanted to be and that was HEALTHY!!!!!!! You have a wonderful holiday and fun during the remaining days of December. Lori

Hey Lori, I think yiou lok great and proud of your weight loss....I noticed that we are surgery sisters and i weighed 312 pre op and now down to 195 as of yesteday.....congrats on your weight loss and I love the dress....it feels great to get dressed up now and feel good about yourself now dont it....Happy Holidays!!!!!
