We are all set!
Everyone has responded to me regarding the gift exchange. Sorry for those of you who didn't get in on time. There is always the card exchange through Donna!
It's time to go shopping! I hope everyone has an idea of what to buy their recipient. If you haven't done so already, please post a few ideas here so we know a little something about you!
If you aren't sure, check the "Gift Exchange Guidlines" post. Some of us posted ideas there.
Take care and Happy Shopping!!!
Lori
PS. I was down to 150 this morning.. I think it's because I have had this nasty flu/cold bug for over a week now... I feel like POO! And I was told that this thing lasts about a month...ugh!
Hi Girl...
Hope you feel better soon. 150 ......... what an accomplishment. I feel like I've been gone from here forever. Our trip to the midwest was wonderful. It was nice to see the in-laws & our wisconsin friends. We got home yesterday & I'm refocusing on being back to work & getting back to a normal schedule. Hope I didn't miss out on the gift exchange. I'll post some ideas once I hear from you.
Thanks Again for taking care of this
Tammy
You have mail my dear! Thanks for the well wishes. I am feeling a tad bit better now. But still struggling with this head cold. And now I have TOM cramps on top of it! Oh well... I will get over it!
Yeah, I just realized last night that I have hit my first goal. My original goal was to get down to 150 and I have now accomplished that! I am hoping to drop a couple more when my TOM is over. I usually do.
Glad you had a great time with your family! We are spending Thanksgiving alone this year. My dad and brother-in-law are going hunting so my sister and mom don't want to have a big dinner. Not to mention that my mom is having surgery on her hand the day before. So she is going to her brother's house for dinner with him and his wife. My sister is going to her son's girlfriend's parents house. My other sis is having dinner at her house for her husband's family. I am just going to cook my own TG dinner and invite my husband's brother over. That way I get to keep all the leftovers! My sisters, mom and I are gonna do the "Black Friday" shopping the day after. I am just disappointed that the whole family won't be together. This will be the first year ever that we haven't had dinner with my parents and sisters and their families.
Anyhoo... glad to see you back!!!
Lori
Wow that's great that you've hit your first goal.... I just can't seem to break the 180-184 cycle. Guess I really need to step back & look at what I've been doing to see what changes I need to make. At any rate, I'm excited for how far I've come & that I'm at least maintaining & not gaining... (hey, now that's a new rhyme that i think i'll be repeating often...hahahaha
I'm not sure about Turkey day for us, yet, this year. We usually make the 3 hour trip up North to spend Thanksgiving with my Dad, Brother, Sister & their families. But, I'm not sure if I want to jump back in the van to make another trip right away. (although, this is nothing compared to 17 hrs). My Dad's Alzheimers is starting to progress somewhat more to the point where he's saying the same exact thing every 5 minutes during a conversation as if it's the 1st time he said it. It's such a sad disease. I guess I'm still thankful that he knows who we are & can still function independently. As far as we know that is. (my stepmother is very giving of information).... Anyway, I understand what you mean about spending this holiday with your family. Seems to be Thanksgiving is more of Family get together time than Christmas because everyone wants to be home on Christmas. My sister (the one who lives in the same town as me) told me this morning that her son invited her & her husband to his house for TG, so if we stay here, it will be a quiet day with just the 5 of us. I'm guessing we will probably make the trip to Massena. That way, my husbank can hunt with my Dad & Brother for a couple of days... Hmmmm, we'll see.
Anyway..... I'm soooooo glad to be back...
Thanks for the email..... Gonna shop... (hey you can go online & see the black friday adds) VERY COOL....
