I just found out i got approved for my panni and breast lift! im so happy but at the same time, kinda sad. I need a addional 5000.00 to make it "normal. I have to pay an extra 2500.00 for the FULL tummy tuck, and another 2500.00 for implants or ill have tiny tiny boobs since i dont have any breast tissue left,lol.... My panni isurgery is scheduled for feb 9th and then about 6 weeks later ill have the breast lift/inplants.... Im just going to get the regular panni since i dont have the extra money, but i will FOR SURE find the money for the boobs, lol! How is everyone? kim

That's awesome Kim! I wish my insurance would cover mine. Only thing is, I don't have any rashes or anything so they don't think it's medically necessary. I will be paying for everything out of pocket! Oh well...it's worth it to me! Congrats!!! Lori

Wow Kim, This is great news...Hope all goes well. You will be 18 months out then? Am I counting right? How much have you lost total since WLS? Are you happy with your choice of PS? Let us know how things progress as we all want the gorey details of PS, don't ya know!! Lori 293/192.5/150

Congrats Kim! Like Lori, I don't think I'll ever get insurance approval. The only area I may have issues with rashes is the top of my thighs were they meet my tush, and that isn't much, so I'll be paying for everything... which means unless I win a lottery or PCH... I'll just have to deal. I hope it goes great and that it exceeds your expectations! Dawn

Congratulations! I know what a big deal this is; I've just started the insurance process and know what a hassle it can be. BTW, for those looking for some low cost alternatives to regular PS, I ran across information on Residency Programs. You can find the information on the PS board. It's easily half what a regular PS costs. Torrey

Congrasts to you! I know the Insurance wont cover mine either and I would have to take a loan out to pay for it all. Last quote was around 20,000.00. Oh well maybe I'll do it in a couple years. It's a shame that it just can't be covered after this surgery. If you go to all the trouble of doing the surgery the insurance should help us out to complete the journey. Diana
