I am having problems with finding something new to eat. I have been cheating the past couple of months and have put on about 10 pounds. Don't like that one bit. I know its because I am tired of eating plain ol protien things. Does anyone have a website, etc where I could go and find some good recipes that are fairly quick and simple? ANY help is appreciated! I have worked so hard to come this far and don't want to continue screwing it up. Maybe I just need to get back to basics and start over? Does anyone have the plateau buster diet? Gonna try to kick start things back in gear again. HELP!! Judy

I have several cookbooks in my shopping cart at Amazon but never buy them because I rarely cook. My eating habits and those of my family are not in sync. I do lots of shrimp and steak. Chicken still doesn't go down well, too dry no matter how I cook it. What types of food do you like? I bet we can come up with something. There is always the receipe board. Torrey

Hi Judy, I know there's a plateau buster recipe out there and I just went back to my basics - 3 meals a day - only protein (though now any protein is okay so it was a lot better than the 1st 6 weeks post-op.) for a week. It worked well, both mentally and physically as I was able to drop the 5 lbs I had gained and had stuck around for a couple of weeks. Head for the library and check out any of the low-carb cookbooks. They are usually higher in protein and the lower carbs is good at keeping you from dumping. Doesn't cost anything and you can get some great recipes. Dawn
