Liver Enzymes

Hi All, Has anyone else started having elevated liver enyzmes? Mine started at the end of March and though I've heard it is common for post-ops my biggest concern is that they've been elevated since I had a low-grade temp for a month. I've been through 2 batteries of tests over the last month or so and now will be having a liver biopsy at the end of next week. Just wanted to see if anyone is experiencing similiar issues. Dawn

Hey Dawn. I have had the same problem, but I have a rare liver condition, which I found out abou t1 month pre-op. But the enzymes weren't effected until after surgery. I don't know, but I am praying for your biopsy. Don't mean to scare you, but they aren't fun. Of course, I couldn't be numbed due to lidocaine allergy, so don't listen to me LOL. Hope all goes well and I love your new pics!

hi dawn... i've been having the same issue. mine was elevated in march, then it went down in april. had them checked again in september & they're back up again. gotta get them checked again this month.... my doc said it may be an indication of gallbladder issues. i also have a prescription for a gallbladder ultrasound but haven't make the appt yet. good luck & let me know how things go. tammy
