OK!!! So some of you know that I haven't been doing well -in last few weeks do to an ulcer- well yesterday HAILS my return to the gym- that's how good I felt.. AND
I'm here to tell YOU ALL.. get yur Fannies back into your WORKOUT!!
First off - I can't believe how MUCH I NEEED IT & MISSED IT!..So STOP dragging
your droopy butts around, and take the first step.. Stretch yourself out before beginning and introduce yourself to something you haven't done- just one new thing- like use handweights while walking or try a new position with the balance ball..
my point is CHALLENGE YOURSELF!!
Second- you are forbidden to look at the time- you can only check it- if you are timing yourself on that activity- what Im saying is- workout to the music - get your head into it- relax and have fun- push yourself if you want to- and when you are past Xnumber of songs- then chek your time- you will see you have worked out LONGER than you expected..
Third- enjoy the endorphins..and repeat after me: WHY THE HELL DIDNT i DO THIS SOONER??
so - can you guess I hit the gym last night? Yes I worked out because I woke up feeling good..BUT TODAY??? IM FEELING FANTASTIC!! AND IT SHOWS!!!
I'M wearing a smooth body hugging black Vneck long sleeve top by Merona size SMALL
and Massimo Black boot cut jeans..hip hugging..size 16..both NEW, all black and today
I MEAN BUSINESS!! LOL I called Steve at 9 am and said- Meet me for drinks tonight..
Im wearing body hugging clothes so watch out!!
So- MasterCard cost of my clothes? $20.00 total ( $9.99 each on Sale!)
Cost of how I feel?? PRICELESS..
AND My point - my very dear friends - is that we lost sight of what matters to us
and got caught up in the rountine of living- rather than focusing on ourselves..I made some time the past few days..to humble myself- like when I was newbie postop..and looked thru the eyes of THAT girl..read back in a journal - from 2004- before my surgery consult..and I found all these constructive thoughts I had written about achieving weight loss trhough excercise - I was just beginning to workout - and I made notes about my trainer at the time- AND I WAS 320LBS THEN..And it showed me-I stopped putting myself first- and letting "ME SLIDE".. so don't do it anymore.. make time for "YOU" everyday..don't lose that connection with yourself..The benefits are more than weight and appearance and numbers on a scale.

Its almost a week later, PMS be damned, and I'm feeling no pain.. Here is something you will appreciate..I found some extra money..think I need shoes to go with all the clothes I just bought at Dress Barn this weekend..LOL
Im wearing deep cocoa brown top & cords today..I figure- if I can't eat CHOCOLATE..
might as well wear it !! And the people at DB gave me another $45 in coupons to return and spend in their store!!!! ARE THEY KIDDING?? LOL
I swear I better get into size 12s..I better get into size 12s..I better get into size 12s..
Maybe if I click my heels 3x together?

Now there's the Donna we all know & love. Glad that you're feeling better. I am actually feeling better myself today... Didn't workout yet, but I think another day or so & I'll finally have all my strength back from feeling like crap the past couple weeks

Wellllllll First off- Im feeling great today- almost a week later..(Had TOM in between posts..one week its the ulcer than that) GOSHHH..but then I think it could be worse..and
then I took my tylenols and behaved myself..so actually I am doing really swell and feeling BACK to myself.. What a LONG friggin month for me.. WHEW!!
Second- Im wearing shades of cocoa/ chocolate today..- head to toe..why? because I decided that since I cant eat chcolate.. I might as well WEAR it..LOL sooo now if only that worked with money!! i couldnt spend it if I had to wear it , right?
Third- I did hit the gym that one Thursday and will be going back- starting tonight or tomorrow- I have a party after work- and Im thinking- I can hit the gym..so I will see..
it would also help if I did laundry.. LOL Not a slob- just Busy!! I have to do laundry off premises..so
And Steve- well - he wound up cancelling on me- he had a full agenda.. and I was at the bar with my son- and the bartenders were just buying us drinks left & right..yes I was very cautious..I would drink like 5 sips and pass the rest to my son- LOL..HE never gets a hangover! LOL And the following night- I was out with a friend- so I am busy
planning how to replace Steve.. LOL Good Men are hard to find & Vice Versa!
