I'm back again...!

Hi ladies, I'm back from being absent from the board. I'm always telling myself that I'm gonna get back on track but the truth is I hate exercising. But tuesday night I was watching that dance show on ABC channel you know the one with jerry springer. Well I told myself one's again that I was going to ride my bike and guess what! I did. I road 4.7 miles in 31 minutes and burn 240 calories. But last night I didn't get to because my son had a fever of 102.7 and he really didn't feel good. So you girls know when your little one is sick all your attenion will be on your child. But to night I'm gonna ride the bike again maybe 3 miles tonight. Oh and I'm walking this weekend in the heart walk walkathon. I think it's a 3 mile walk and that should be a piece of cake (SMILE)...!! Wish me luck and you ladies take care. Carolyn/Jc C. Just an update, I did ride my stationary bike tonight. And here are my stats....! 3.30 miles 166.1/calories burn 20:46 minutes/second. Good night.... Carolyn/Jc C.

Hi Carolyn, Welcome back... I too took a break and it's nice to be back. I think the key for most of us is finding something active we like to do. Most of us don't LIKE to exercise, but we like active activities. Fit in enough active activities, and we're getting in those exercise minutes. Have you tried the pedometer method... track your steps and try and hit 15,000 for weight loss and 10,000 for maintenance. Dawn 258/135/139 (goal hit in May - now maintaining - kinda )
