WHAT A YEAR!!!
OMG! Yesterday made a year--already? It has been a roller coaster to say the least. I have had ups and downs.
Let's see the downs:
Four Days Out: Katrina hit putting us without power for a week (in Alabama/in August/recovering from surgery/with a baby/passed a kidney stone during this time as well) WHEW!!!
Two Weeks Out: my car was stolen and wrecked (had just bought my dream car - a Lexus)
Kidney Stones: I have passed a kidney stone an average of one every two months (think having a baby every two months). It hurts, Ladies!!!!
Kidney Infections: I have kept a kidney infection for almost a year!!
Husband: WOW! I don't even want to get into that, but everything is better. We are working on some MAJOR issues.
THE UPS:
They outweigh the downs. I am truly blessed. I have lost 110 pounds and I have gained a new life and perspective. I went from a size 26 to a size 11. Last night at a football game, my neighbor (a retired teacher), ran up to me and hugged me. She said, "You look so good, Sherry. You look like a teenager. You are just beautiful." I asked her if she could call me everyday and tell me that. HA! I get compliments like that all the time. It really makes me feel good. I would do this over in a New York Minute. What a Blessing!!
