I loss 13 pounds this time....!

Hi ladies, I had an doctors appointment today and I lose 13 pounds since April 13, and to me that's pretty slow. I know I should be proud but I was hoping I would loose 20 pounds. For some reason I gain 4 pounds this week. I eat the same thing everyday for breakfast 1 egg, 2 slices of bacon, and 1 slice of 100% wheat bread toasted. For lunch I've been eating small bags of popcorn and a couple of sips of crystal light drink. For dinner I've been nibbling on my son's left overs, which isn't alot of food. I was weighing 186 by my scale monday, today at the docs office his scale read 193.2 pounds. My scale read 190 this morning. I hate when stuff like this happens. The lady doc I saw today said I need to eat more chicken and meats. I guess it would help if I keep a food diary. I usually get in a cheese stick, and drink about 28.5grams of proteins drink aday but I didn't do it today. I asked her if she thought 160 would be a good weight for me. She said 150 to 155 would put me in the normal range on the BMI scale. But I like 160 better, because I know what I look like at 164, and I would be wearing a size 12 in jeans and medium to large tops which is OK with me. I just want to feel good and stay health for myself and my son. My next appointment is in Nov. and I hope to be down to 178 or 175 would be so... nice. Hi carolyn I see were pretty close in numbers! You have done great!!!! Gess were slow loosers!! But hey, were looseing!! Keep up the great job!! Im trying to get more protien in and loose the carbs and the fats!! And up the water!! Think its helping me! And excersing more as well!! We will get there!! Take care sheree 285/190/happy with 160!!

Hi Sheree, You're right our weight status is real close. But like you said, we're just slow looser, but we're still loosing and thats the main point. Some times with out thinking I get off track and than I have to catch myself and get back on track with the program. I guess going through this for the second time is harder for me. But I'm determine to make this one work for life. Sheree we just have to keep the faith in God and in ourselves and we can do anything. Keep up the great work and have a wonderful sunday. Carolyn 13 lbs is great since April... When I went in July, I had lost like 9 lbs since April, so looks like we're all around the same with losing. Today is Rolans first day of school right??? How'd it go? Keep up the great work Tammy

I'm right there in the same range as you guys. I've lost 16 lbs in the last 4 months. I'm just 5'3, so I have to get to 140 to have a normal BMI. I don't know if I've ever weighted 140. I do my water and I do my protien. I wish I still threw up like I did in the begining. BTW, my weight always goes up about 3 lbs from the AM to whenever I go the doctor. As soon as I drink my first pottle of water, I'm way futher from goal. That's why I try to weigh at the same time every morning. Torrey (281/185/160)
