hey kim! that's awesome! congratulations! i've started doing PS consults. not sure yet what i want to do, but i know first priority is getting new boobs! mine are goners! i have a hernia that needs to be fixed, so i'd like to do that at the same time as BL/BA, but not sure yet if i can do them together. later on i might want some kind of TT but not sure about that yet. i've lost 84 pounds and am pretty much where i want to be, so i'd like to get this stuff started soon. if you're at or near your goal you can definitely start having consultations at least. good luck! Hi Kim! Of course you are always welcome here! If they had a little hug emoticon, insert it here---> I have been seriously thinking about plastics myself. I want a lower body lift. I figured with that, my stomach and thighs would all get a lift rather than doing the thighs separately (it looks wayyyyyy to painful and the scars are hideous). But... I will probably have to just settle with the TT. My insurance will pay for it if I have documented rashes and such. Which at the moment, I don't have. I do keep getting a rash inside my belly button though. But haven't been to the doc for it. Guess I should do that if I want a chance at getting insurance to cover it. But if not, I am willing to finance it. My boobs are not good, but they aren't terrible either. They look GREAT in a bra! My arms are ok. Not too much hanging there. Not enough for me to consider a lift. I have my one year on the 25th of August. I am going to ask for a referral then. Last time I saw my surgeon, he said that my panni wasn't bad at all. But I beg to differ. I am sure he has seen wayyyy worse than mine but to me it's bad! Anyone else thought about plastics yet? Or has anyone started down that road? This is a really good topic. Let's keep it going! Lori

Only you can take credit for your journey and Im glad we all helped you! I did peek into your profle..You need to do some updatin' girl! AND you and I both have our Surgiversary same Day! I will be thinking of you and beam you some positive rays on 8/15! I am not yet at my goal weight- but my surgeon has been documenting that I have rashes and panni .I do not have rashes (yet) but I have Aetna and she knows what they wanna see..I hope to be under 200 by 8/15. I have gone from a tight 26 to size 14, and don't think I did size 14 for more than a month when I was in college. I grad HS at 175, and I was hoping to be somewhere around that by XMAS. LOL Stay strong on your journey and discipline. Keep being proud of you and how far you have come. I'm proud of everyone here. I just turned 50 last week and I swear I look more like 25 than when I was actually 25! LOL P.S. You are a Hottie!! Hugs Donna

Kim, Hey girl....it's GREAT to hear from you. You're doing wonderful. I'm so glad that your journey continues to be one of SUCCESS. Always remember to Celebrate that. I haven't started any PS consults as of yet. Not sure if or when I will. Probably not until we're done paying for the girls braces, then I can use all my flexible spending towards it. My stomach isn't too bad, my arms & thighs aren't that great, but both those surgeries look sooooo painful. Guess we'll see down the road what I decide. I have about 18 lbs to my surgeons goal & 37 to my personal goal so as I get closer, we'll see what I decide. Keep us posted on your progress & let know how you're doing. Love hearing from you. You're doing awesome ((((HUGS)))) & Tammy 291/284/182/164 surgeons goal/145 my goal

Hi Kim, you look fabulous. I went to a support group meeting back at the end of June because there was going to be a plastic surgeon there. He was informative and very friendly. I really enjoyed meeting him. I wish he was closer to my area, but he isn't. He talked alot about the panni area and a lower body lift. One thing he said that made a lot of sense is if you are doing your lower body and a bust lift, do the lower body first because the breast lift done first will cause the nipples to stick up after the lower body lift is done. he had a picture of a women who had a breast lift done first by someone else and then she came to him for the lower body lift and it really did look wierd. So make sure you discuss it with your PS and see what his thoughts are on doing which surgery first. I am going to need a lower body lift and most important to me is to get my arms done. They have always been huge even as a child and now the kids at church love to use my hanging arms as a play toy. It is ugly and shirts don't fit good in the correct size because of them. Well, keep up with your journey. Lori 293/197/135
