Wednesday's Gym--Day 12
Hey all!
Okay - me and DH went to see a friend at the hospital that had her WLS yesterday, she is doing GREAT! On the way home we stopped at a nature trail that's a few miles from our house and walked 2 miles. It was fun to change scenary for our walk!
I saw a change on the scale finally - 171 today! (Been 172 for a while now, got down as low as 168 a while back but been bouncing around since then.) I can see a real difference in my legs especially now that I'm walking again. I had gotten 'mushy' looking again and my thighs were real lumpy with cellulite, but they are firming back up and look much better! Now if I could get my gut to do that! UGH!
Latest word on Bill is the doctor believes even if he comes out, he'll likely have another stroke. So, since Bill has reacted a couple times to people in his room, yet he's still in a coma, we're afraid he's basically trapped in his own body and possibly vaguely aware of it. If so, it's likely that Bill, being the independant stubborn man he can be, may just give up because he's not one that could live with the idea of no longer being independant. I hope that isn't the case, but we have no idea at this point. Thank you all for your prayers, they are appreciate and needed now.

It is nice to change the scenery once in a while isn't it. Makes the walk more enjoyable, plus your body will react to the change.
Great news on the scale Hopefully it keeps on moving for you.
That's sad news about Bill. I can understand him just letting go if this is his future. It's still very hard for those close to him. Hang in there & stay strong, looks like it's going to be needed by those close to him. We'll continue to pray for him in that God decides his future soon so he can be on the road to recovery soon or be in peace with the Father.
Take Care
