Hey Tammy! I may be interested in the trip if I can come up with the funds....I just did a quick price check on us air from Charlotte NC to NY is 778.00 round trip!!!! To Vegas it is only 338.00 (don't quote the exact figure) but is that not crazy!!!!!! The further you fly the cheaper it is! I have always wanted to go to Vegas....I had a vision prior to a friend of mine going there about a year and a half ago (and no, I am not a kook) and she won $300.00 from doing just as I saw in my vision.....she called me at 12:30am and boy was she excited .....let me know if you think this is something we can all pull together and maybe we could get a group rate at a motel, or if anyone on this boards can pull some strings, there is no telling what we could come up with! I just checked on Expedia. Golden Nugget is a 4 star hotel that seems to be pretty reasonable. I have never been to Vegas. You may know the area better, but it would cost me about $580.00 to fly from Birmingham and book this hotel for two nights. I don't know if there is a better deal out there or not. Let us know. Hey Donna, I love the idea of getting together. I don't think I'll be able to this year though. I just bought a house and will move in July. All funds are tied up in that right now. I hope you all will take tons of pics and post them for those who can't make it to see. That would be great. Let me know where you are going and I'll try to come up with some funds from some where. Hey Donna, I haven't been reading the boards for a while, partially busy, partially in a funk. I've snapped out of it now and really appreaciate your recent postings-- exactly what I needed to hear! Protein, here I come! Did anything come of the Vegas time? I'd love to join you. It's only about a 5 hour drive for me or a 45 minute flight and I don't go anywhere often enough! Let me know!
