AT GOAL YAHOO

HI there my fellow Aug WLS Buddies. I'm finally "AT GOAL" HIP HIP HURRAY. I started off with 90 lbs to loose to get to goal and I'm now officially -91 lbs and no longer considered overweight! On my BMI calculator "IM NORMAL" hahah I don't think I've ever been "Normal" before BTW, What is "Normal" anyway? lol. Suprisingly my skin isn't as baggy as I thought it would be. Don't get me wrong, I DO have saggy skin, but not as much as I thought. I think the thing that is saddest is that I have NO BOOBS left. I've always been a C cup.. from a 42C on down... But now I'm barley a B cup and with that, it's all about rolling those babies up and stuffing them into my bra. I'm having a blast though with water bra's , bra inserts... etc lol. So if you see any picts on my profile page.... my boobs aren't really mine lol. My mind has finally caught up with my weight loss and I can now put on an outfit, look in the mirror, and smile... because I see that I am thin now. My teen daughter has calmed down a bit accepting the fact that "Mom's clothes" don't fit her. The other day I had a pair of pants on and she wanted to try them on, I said "Sure honey, but they are a size 2" she laughted and said "Forget it then" lol. My husband on the other hand... how strange. He never compliments me, is NOT affectionate towards me.... Is it insecurity? who knows but I got way more attention from him when I was fat. Hopefully it's just a stage, because it's affecting our relationship. I am SOOOOOOO grateful that I had this surgery! A Happy Camper for sure. This is the FIRST summer that I have more energy than I know what to do with! The FIRST summer I have wore tank tops, short skirts etc.... Life is grand Hugs Tamela

congrats, tamela! that's so awesome! i totally understand about the boobs. i have the same problem! they're gone! mine barely fill up a B, also. definitely going to see about buying some new ones! LOL i'm having the same problems with my husband. although he wasn't all that nice or complimentary before, he's much worse now. yes, it's insecurity, and really isn't our problem, it's THEIRS. we haven't done anything wrong, so it's something they're just going to have to deal with. it's a sad thing because you want your partner to support you, but it's not going to happen. so you just have to be happy with yourself and know that you do look better and more importantly, FEEL better. good luck to you! Hi Tamela Congrats!!!!!! You look awsume!!! I know you must feel so proud!! Good for you!! Your husband is probally just scard of loosing you! Just reasure him and love him!! He will come around. Hi Tamela! CONGRATULATIONS!! You look wonderful and I understand the stuffing part of wearing a bra. I fill the bottom of a cup fine, but the top is a little empty because the fullness just isn't there, and gosh forbid if I try to not wear a bra! I hope your husband starts communicating his issues soon so that you can get close again. Dawn 258/134/135

Congrats, Tamela! You look Great. Job well done. As for boobs been gone, that sounds like a common problem among us, WLS girls.... but it's defenetly a minor "thing" to give up to feel and look "normal". "Husbands'" issues on the other hand I don't see as minor, but hopefully that will be somehow resolved too....Mine didn't loose his affection toward me, but instead he gained "suspicion" of my all of a sudden propencity to leave him for somebody "rich and young"... WOW. You are so skinny!! You look great, Tamela. I can't wait until I am "normal". My "girls" are not as full as they used to be either. I am still a C cup, but they are laying down on the job if you know what I mean? As far as the husband - my husband and I are arguing a lot. He does compliment me though. I just think we have been under a lot of stress or maybe I have a lot of resentment towards him and just discovering it?!???? Anyway, Great Job!! Sherry 276/183/140
