I know how you feel. I have gained recently too. I think we just find we can eat more and eat more different things so we do.
You will never gain that weight back, you won't let yourself.
For myself I am going to get more excerise, drink more wather and jus****ch what I put in my mouth. It is scary, thats for sure. We have come along way. I am so close to 100 pounds lost.
Just keep posting. Support is so important.

Madeline,hi.
It sounds that you are pretty upset. But I wanted you to try to stay positive and maybe try to get things back on track. It's only 3 lb. You can get them off and then some. You have the tool. You know the rules. Maybe try weighing youself more often at this point to get it under tighter control, and catch gain on time. And the last thing you want to do is to think of yourself as a failure and give up. 3 lb is NOT a major gain. Pull it all back together! It's new day, it's a new start! And we are here to support you.
Best wishes to you, Rita
Okay, so I know I am a total scale ho...but during the course of a few days I still bounce back and forth like 3-5 pounds. For me I need to weigh daily to keep myself focused. Get back on track, weigh in a few days and I think you will see that it will come off. Last month I lost only 3 pounds when the month before I lost 9....so I think we are just at a point where our bodies are adjusting. Keep the faith!!

I can't even count how many times I have gained and lost the same pounds since I started this journey. It is very normal for us to do that. I haven't lost a lb in the last month and a half. I keep gaining and losing the same 5 lbs! It's very frustrating. But today I started back on my walking and I am hoping that it helps. I am also pushing the water since I am kinda slack in that area. And when I want to snack, which seems to happen more often now, I keep foods that are good for me around. If I don't have healthy stuff around, I would go find something unhealthy and I don't even want to start that crap! I keep things like string cheese, Blue Bunny Carb Freedom yogurt, fruit, soy nuts, sugarfree popsicles, sugarfree jello, strawberries w/fatfree Cool Whip (this is sooo good).
Don't give up girl! We are all here for you and in this together! Come in here and get the support you need. Join our exercise post too! It keep us totally motivated and accountable for our actions.
Keep your chin up! We can do this TOGETHER!!!

Madeline...
You're not a failure & this is not the end. We have all noticed our weights fluctuate. Unfortunately, you weighed during that fluctuation. I have to hand it to you for waiting until the 15th every month to weigh. That's great will power. Like already said, you may want to weigh a little more often now that you're further out from surgery. This way you can notice a trend. Also, I attended the OH conference this past weekend & the first advice for what to do with weight gain or plateau was to journal your food/water intake for 2 weeks. This should show any trends or reasons why you're at where you are.
Keep posting on here....we're all here to support each other.
