Good morning my August friends.... Hope everyone is doing wonderful. I'm doing great. My Stats Today's weight : 189.5 YEAH.............. Walked: 50 minutes outside bright & early.... 3 miles Let's all keep in mind how good we feel when we take that "ME" time.... whether it be exercise or just that little time to take a deep breath & reflect on ourselves, our accomplishments and our future with our new lives. I know everyone is so darn busy these days, just be a little selfish & do it for yourselves... YOU DESERVE IT. Always remember to CELEBRATE YOUR SUCCESS & Enjoy the Ride through this Journey.... Have an absolutely wonderful & blessed day. Tammy 291/284/189.5/145 ps: On a sad note, our little village lost their first soldier to the Iragi war on May 4th. Eli Parker, a 21 year old Marine was killed in a roadside bomb. Take some time to pray for him and his family. Also for all the men & woman who sacrifice themselves, every day, for our safety. They are all HERO's in my eyes. May God watch over them and welcome those with open arms that lose their lives.

Good Morning Sweet lady! I am very sad to learn of your loss. This whole war makes me sad. But that is another story. I will pray for him and his family and all of the other people laying their lives on the line for our country. I will be gone the rest of this week. My work conference starts tomorrow in Spokane. I have brought my exercise clothes and my swim suit so I will be getting exercise while away. We also have to walk to all of our classes, not to mention 8-10 blocks downtown to shop!!! I will miss you all!!! You are rocking on the weightloss my dear! That sure likes you!!! I am sitting at 188 this am. My scale reads 183 so with the 5lb difference between mine and the doctor, that puts me at 188, hopefully! I think I need to buy a new scale. This one reads differently every time I step on it. So here's to a wonderful week to us all! Love you all, Lori 281/188/140ish PS When I post my before weight, I use my pre-surgical consult weight, which was one month before my surgery. My actual weight on surgery day was 278. That is of course after doing the bowel cleansing the day before!!

Good luck at your conference. You'll probably come home 5 lbs less with all that walking. If not, hey, your body LOVES the exercise. I am supposed to be leaving Thursday morning for the OH Regional Convention in PA but if Eli (the fallen soldier) is scheduled to return home, we will not be going so we can pay tribute to him. My brother in law is the Mayor of our Village so I'm in the loop of all the planning for his return. Our village police, state trooper & County Sherriffs dept along with Cris, my b-in-law, will be meeting the vehicle at the airport & giving him a police escort, along with the military escort back here. Once in town, we are all going to line the streets. When the vehicle goes by us, we will file behind & walk along. We are having a single bag piper as well. It will be just beautiful. There's alot of feelings by everyone about the men & women over there, but if you talk to any one of them, they pretty much all support being over there. All I can say is they are my Hero's. At any rate, I'm still undecided on if I should use my starting weight of 291 or my surgery weight for my century club card. I am at 101.5 lb loss since the beginning.... Guess I'll decide sooner or later. Thanks for waiting for me to get down to the 180's with you.....I know it's driving you nuts....... Have a great week...........We'll miss you Tammy 291/284/189.5/145

OMG Tammy, you brought tears to my eyes. What a wonderful way to celebrate his life. My cousin Ryan was stationed over there for 2 years and is now back home. I was worried sick about him the whole time he was there. I just thank the good Lord that he made it home safely. I totally support our troops. And they are my hero's too. I pray for them daily and send them much love. The 180's are sweet aren't they! I was happy to wait for ya, well...a little anyway... ! But let's not stay here long, k?? Love ya lots, Lori

Tammy~ My two cents is that every single pound you lost counts!! Get that century club card girl!! Congratulations! I lurk here, but usually post on the cali board which is pretty active. The consensus is every pound lost counts toward the century club. Shari 391/370/271/191

Worked out 40 + mins this morning. My work out for the afternoon is to cut the grass. Yard looking like a jungle. I have a 21 year old myself and every time I hear and see about another young life gone, I almost can't stand it. I am a Air Force brat so I respect the military greatly. And I've seen what Vietnam did to alot of young men. I want them home. I have a nephew over there. Pam

Hi Tammy, Today's weight, I don't know scared to step on the scale lately. Weighed in at 215 Monday, was 214 a few days prior to that. I think I will claim the 214 for now. Did Curves for 30 minutes, will be walking today with my husband, weather permitting. Many prayers for your lost soldier, may God Bless and Keep you all. Toya 284/214*/165
