Topic: HI EVERYONE
Ok so I have only posted on this board maybe twice - not very often, because it's not so active. But now I have a question for all of you. Has anyone had their reconstructive surgery done? I go for my TT consult next week and was just wondering if anyone had done it. If so share your story! Thanks. If you don't feel comfortable then please PM me. Hope everyone is healthy and well.
Topic: RE: Looking for my wagon!
I thought I was only with that problem. I too have gotten into that habit. with Halloween-- I have been munching on those sweets. some times I wish I dumped with it and I wouldn't do it again.

Topic: Looking for my wagon!
All, it's been quite some time since I last posted. In fact, my member information appears to be completely lost. Nevertheless, this group has always been a great resource - and I could really use some help - becuase I've not only fallen off the wagon, but it kept on rolling....
Following my surger 3 years ago, I never really took advantage of the assistance of a dietician. Today, although I've not put the weight back on, I'm worried about my overall health due to 2.5 years of poor eating habits.
Can anyone point me in the direction of a good book of recipes - or even a simplistic outline of what we should be eating and the quantities?
My problem is sugar. I eat sweets nonstop, and I MUST get it under control because my body is simply not getting what it needs to function well.
I appreciate any help you can offer, and I look forward to rejoining the OH family.
Topic: Group Hug
I know, I know, I know! Time goes too fast. I come to you in my hours of need. I need all your help. I NEED A GROUP HUG, because on Saturday October 13th is my 41st Birthday. Hope to read from as many of you as possible. I know I can always count on all of you. Take care.
Topic: RE: nectar protein
I would go by how much protein is in each serving and how much you need a day, but from the way I understand it the more protein the better. It would also depend on if there was any carbs or surgars in it, if there is surgar and carbs in it, it would have to have a lot of protein in it for me to drink any of it....but thats just my opinion!
Topic: RE: 3 YEARS OUT AND NEED HELP!!
Don't get me wrong, i eat carbs. What i do is i eat my protein first, fruits and veggies next, then the fat or bad carbs last. I eat five small meals a day. If i snack it's fruit , nuts , jerky, or sf pudding or sf popsicles. If i crave something i'll have a bite or two and thats it. If i don't stick to eating like this i am hungry all the time. It's a big effort to make, but if you stay determined you can do it. Also, i drink protein every morning as soon as i wake up and i drink 100 ounces of water a day.

Topic: Plastic Surgery
Hi,
I am 3 years post op and am looking into having a total body lift. My insurance (Kaiser) will only pay to have the skin removed from my abdomen so my cost will be $22,000.00 for a total body lift. My question is: Has anyone on this board used any of the online plastic surgery financing? I have been investigating some but was not sure how they really work or if they are worth the money to use them. I sure could use some input into this. Thanks
