I also had sleep apnea. I had to sleep in the living room because my snoring was LOUD! When I went to visit family members I had to try to stay awake and like I was asleep so I wouldn't wake them up, be the talk during breakfast, or made fun of. We both would be dead if it wasn't for this surgery. I'm giving to much away. I need to be booked in 60 Minutes, or Dateline or any talk show.(ha ha ha)

Actually, i can totally relate...have you read my profile? i really haven't seen my surgeon since feb 2005 , my pcp takes care of me. But i can't blame my surgeon fully for what happened, but just think he should have had me checked for sleep apnea knowing i had a lot of problems already. If he had done this, it would have been smooth sailing for me. But had i not had my surgery, i would be dead already, i'm sure of that. Anyway, i'm glad you're here to tell the story.

Linda, I have been wanting to do a profile, but I was waiting till I was finished seeing the doctor who did my surgery. The doctor who did my surgery is not my personal doctor. I had major problems with the surgeon doctor. He did a great job doing my laproscopic surgery. He is one of the best in his area. BUT, I will stop there. As of this year, I no longer go visit him. Before the year is over I will do a profile with pictures. It will not be done to talk bad about him. It will be the truth of what was my journey. Including from the time I met him till I no longer had to go visit him. It will have "WOW" moments and a couple of unpleasant moments. Sound like a Lifetime Channel movie?

Linda, we need to send a distress call to all August 2004 members. If they are reading this message feel free to join in the chat. You can tell Linda and me how the Lakers and the Pistons are going to do tonight. Or like Linda says " A "WOW" moment.

Yeah i think they are. It's just our 8-2004 board isn't as active i think. i think we need to start reminding them, what do you think?

Linda, so do you think many August board members are probably in their state board? Please try to keep in touch with the August 2004 members. We might have to chase you to the Michigan board to bring you back.
