I have done that more than you could imagine. She is so controlling and wants to know everything! We pretty much don't let her know our business anymore. But she lives close by and does what she can to "help". We are fine though, hubby just needs to stand up to her. Thanks for your advice, it's always welcome. Hugs Linda

I'm definitely up for a Summer Challenge. What better way to celebrate my 2year anniversary than to get to MY goal weight of 125lbs. I'm currently 134 and have always wanted to be in the 120's. I know i can definitely still do it since I have been such a slacker and don't exercise. My summer challenge: Lose 10lbs by Aug 30, 2004. Start date: June 1, 2006 (that gives us a little under 3months!) What will be YOUR Summer Challenge?

Topic: Summer Tour '06: A new month, a new start!
Good morning, and welcome to June! I hope everyone is doing well this morning. Although summer doesn't officially arrive until later this month, I think hearing "June" conjures up summer thoughts for most of us. It's here! The first leg of our summer tour (see a couple of posts down about the summer challenge, if this is the first you've heard of this) is making sure we're where we need to be with our water consumption. Here is a link again to a calculator telling you how much H20 you should be taking in: http://nutrition.about.com/library/blwatercalculator.htm Let's get used to all this water, and incorporate that into our lives if we haven't already, or if we've let it slip a bit, and next week we'll ramp things up somewhat with other aspects of using this tool. In the meanwhile, remember the importance of water in all aspects of our bodily functions, not the least of which is helping flush fat and toxins out of the way! It does so much more than that, as we all know. And it's free! Have great days and stay tuned as the tour continues! Kathryn

Thanks for being so sweet. I dunno if i'm happy or sad about the job, i worked with my mother in law and she so stressed me out. Anyway i will go buy a camera, but i have no idea how to get the pictures on here. I think cvs and some other places will email them to you or put them on a cd, i'll check that out. I promise no more pistons talk, i hope that makes you feel better. Hugs Linda

Linda, sorry about losing your job. Time to collect uneployement and give your body some much needed rest. With the first check go and buy a disposable camera and start taking pictures all over the place. Of course you in the pictures. Full length pictures is the only way we would accept the pictures. Maybe some with the view of the city and some with la familia. Take care and no more talking about the Pistons. They beat my Lakers a couple years ago.

I would love to put some recent pics on here. I am working on saving to buy me a digital camera, but then i just lost my job. I am so sad, but relieved at the same time. I filed today for unemployment, and i think i will start looking into my tt tomorrow, i really need that done and my insurance is paying hopefully. I think right now is the perfect time for me to do it, what do you think? My back is killing me from the weight of the skin. As for the Pistons, i really don'****ch em, but i do hope they win!! Auburn Hills will be having great parties if we win . hehe Ok, i will try for the pics asap, i promise. Maybe even full length. Hugs Linda

Wow! I can't believe I need about 87 onces of water a day. I better start drinking a little more than what I normally drink. I have a difficult time drinking water at work because I work in a library. We don't allow people to come inside with drinks. I have to find a solution to that. Thanks for the information.
