Topic: RE: eating too much?
I'm definitely no expert, but I don't think I could manage to eat a whole burrito supreme. Don't worry, I'm not judging you, I just don't think I could do it... but then again I only give myself like 10 minutes to eat and then I'm done. Maybe if I sat there awhile and picked, I could eat half of it... but for some reason I still can't do the tortilla thing yet. I went to Chevy's last week and had a half of a crispy chicken taco over about 40 minutes. I wished afterwards I hadn't even had that. I think it's important on this WLS diet to stop when your satisfied, not full. When your body stops feeling hungry, then your probably not anymore. Save the rest for later if you want (if it's something really yummy, I always tell myself I'll eat the rest later, but usually just end up throwing it away). Hope that helps! Dawn

Hang In There Girl!!!!!! You have not failed! Tell me which program you have tried where you have lost 95.8 pounds in 7 months??????? If you are gettting your water, protein, exercise and using fitday (which I also use religiously). The weight will come off. As far as hunger goes,I find that drinking decaf tea really helps curb hunger for me. I hope you try it and find out that it works for your too. As another 8/16er we've got to hang together. Well, try not to let it get you down and continue what you are doing. Try uping your protein. I have started to slow down quite a bit too. I was 175 on the scale last week. But, this week it says 180. I have lost 100 lbs. But, I hope I'm not starting to go in the wrong direction. I walk three miles a day and drink plenty of water. But, I can eat anything without getting sick. I do mean anything. So, I feel you.

I use fitday every single day. I stay within the requirements of what my nutrionist wants me to be. I drink at least 96 oz. of water each day. I know I do have problems with water retention, and I do take a water pill. I don't take it everyday though. Maybe I should and see if that makes a difference. Another thing is I have my appetite back now and I feel hungry almost all the time. At least I have the last several days. It is driving me crazy. I really feel like I have started to fail at this, and I'm completely finished losing weight. I don't want this to be the end. I'm still FAT!!!! JUDY

Not sure what to tell ya girlie, but here is a HUG!!! Have you tried fitday.com to put in your food for a day? I know I have slowed down alot and its driving me nuts. You would be having to eat a ton to be bouncing around those few pounds, have you talked to your doctor abou****er retension? It could be part of the issue. I know there are days that I weigh a pound or two more, but its impossible to be anything more than water, the food and amount I am eating. I am down to 163. Slow but steady I guess. Maria

Topic: RE: how much do you eat now?
Thank you Sunny This post is just what I have been looking for. I am glad take some one is having these same ideas about this situation. I have been driving myself crazy with this. I have a few questions; 1) Do any of you go to a nutritionist when you get to this point , I am considering going to one because I only got information about what to eat up until the six week post op and nothing after that. I am a little nervous about trying new things because I don't want to stop losing although it has slowed down some. 2) When you journal do you keep track of carbs ,calories etc? I track my protein and water intake but don't know if i'm supposed to track the others. If any of you do can you give me daily limiteds for them? thanks Mary C
