Hi Shelley! According to my dietician.....she recommends that I have an intake of 60-70 grams of protein a day, plus my water, vitamins, and excersize...... What does your dietician suggests? OR look back on your info from your DR. and see what his recommendations are. Hope this can help a little bit! Take care! Bernice................

Topic: Stalled out!!!!
Hello everyone! I was wondering if anyone else seems to stall out for a while. I have lost 195 pounds so far but seem to have slowed or even stopped losing weight. My surgeon says my protein level was a little low do you think that has anything to do with it? Hope everyone is doing well. Talk to you soon Bill

Thanks for the post Susan...we've been bad lately. My Progress start wt: 255 Current wt: 164 Loss this week: 1 Loss thus far: 92lbs I wanna be in the century club baaadly! lol... I notice I eat more and have been very careless abou****ching what I eat. I eat too fast, have foods I shouldnt, and just don't have enough protein!!! I rarely exercise and need to figure out a way ASAP to not saboutage my progress. Norma G. *also need to change my pic on here, its the same from preop! lol

Yep, me too! I went from a size 10W to a 8 1/2 which I suppose is good but now I have to buy all new shoes!! Oh well at least I have an excuse now for buying new shoes! Shelley -125

Hi all Hope everyone is having a nice Wednesday! I have a question, exactly how much protein am I suppose to get in one day? I know it's bad but I haven't ever really focused on making sure I'm getting exactly what I should but since my weight loss has been stalled for a few weeks I know I need to focus on it more. I've bought some protein shakes and I've been having those for breakfast but they only have 15 grams of protein. All the bars I've tried are nasty but I'd like to have something quick and easy. Yes Yes Yes I haven't bought any new shoes, but if I tie my walking shoees any tighter the strings will break. Plus i keep tripping over my own feet!. I thought it was just me. Thanks for posting so I know I'm not alone in this......

Laura, I had to buy new shoes at 4 mos. out...I started out in an 11 M or W or a 10 WW and now I'm a 10M or a 9 1/2 medium (mostly sneakers in 9 1/2). I'm sure I will have to replace shoes again by the time this joruney is over! JUDY

This past Friday was the first time I saw a gain bigger than .5 of a pound. I gained 3 pounds!!! I went from 370.8 to 374! I was so mad. I try to remember that I have lost 151 already, and I shouldn't get upset just yet. But then again... that "time of the month" is coming.
