Topic: RE: are the numbers to high?
Those numbers sound a bit like mine for yesterday...I seem to be getting in on average 1200-1300 cal a day. I bet that's why I'm not loosing anymore. I seem to be maintaining around 148-150 lbs. I just want to be loosing again so I'm trying to reduce my caloric intake. I have my 9 month visit on 5/4 so I'm going to check with my surgeon to see if my caloric intake is ok. These are my totals from fitday yesterday... calories - 1363 fat - 72g carbs - 93g (too many!) protein - 99g Today is a bit better...by the time I get home I will be at...(not including dinner) calories - 896 fat - 39g carbs - 48g protein - 88g Kristy

Sunny, Thats about where I am at and somedays I don't get that high. I have been pretty stable for a while. I hope I'm not eating too much. I'm not gaining but I'm not losing either. Karin

Hey Barb, I can so relate to the fullness but no BM part... I can't stand it! My Doc told me to order some liquifiber and gave me some samples, they seemed to help, but I have yet to actually order some, it's kind of a rip-off. For me, the munching time is between 2-4pm. I do so well all day, but during that time I just search for things to munch on. I agree, if we can make it past our tough times, we'll probably lose a lot faster. Let us know how the book is, that may be a good one for all of us to read! Thanks and have a great day! Dawn

Topic: Rambling On
Feel like dumping this morning. Took meds and had 1 sm pc of cheese. Sugar Level is 74. A little low but nothing to worry about. Took 2 stool softeners this morning. Have the feeling of 'fullness' but am unable to have a 'BM'. I find my most difficult time for eating is after dinner. I want to munch and am not sure what to do. I'm never hungry. Dinner fills me up. I just want to munch. I think controlling these urges will help me lose more weight quicker. I'm going to start The Success Habits of Weight-Loss Surgery Patients Workbook today. I read the book, but feel I have forgotten most of its contents. I am hoping the reinforcement of doing the exercises in the book will help alot. General exercise, I feel I'm doing great. Working out almost daily. And when I don't work out there is a legit reason, i.e. breaking my toe. Today I'd like to clean the foyer and do the exercise book. That'll be enough of a challenge for me.
