Topic: Left to lose to Reach Goal
How much does everyone have left to lose before they reach their goal weight. I still need to lose 50 pounds to get to my goal weight. Tammy

I was hoping to hit the century mark by end of this month and today guess what the scale said....................................156 I love that thing when it works (LOL)! So 100lbs. in 8 months (wow) I am ecstatic with my progress. Do you think it is possible for me to lose another 36 pounds? I am 5'0 (shorty) my goal is 140 but that will make me overweight still. My dream is 120, this will put me in the normal range. What do you think? Keep up the good work everyone, you are all doing great! --Marianne 256/156/140-goal 120-dream

Topic: Challenge: Countdown to Vacation!
I'm just 7 weeks away from a wonderful week-long vacation in Orlando, Florida, at Universal Studios. No, not taking the husband and kids this time---just meeting with some old girl friends from grade school days, and we're going to live it up! See everything we want to see and ride ALL the rides! I wanted to challenge myself to lose at least 20 pounds before I leave for vacation in mid-June. I made a chart....getting ready to monitor myself daily and lose some more weight. I only have 47 pounds left to reach my (doctor's) goal, and right now, I think that will be my goal too....but that's another story for another time. If anyone would like to join me in the 7-week challenge, I would welcome the company and support. I will officially begin on Sunday, May 1, and "end" my challenge period on Saturday, June 18. Vacation actually starts that day for me. I figure all that walking around Universal Orlando will keep my weight at bay....no matter what I decide to eat while I am there! Before I leave, all I will be doing will be checking myself daily to be sure I'm on track....I've made a chart to mark my progress. I will be trying to watch my carb intake and bump up the protein and skim milk consumption. Also, I will try to increase my exercise to 5 times a week. Join me in this challenge if you want to! I'm just so excited about seeing these old friends, and I know I will love walking all over that amusement park feeling better than ever before! ~Laura 286/206/160 (Goal to reach by vacation = 186)

Topic: plateau
I had my surgery 8/6/04 and I have lost 101 lbs and I am very happy to have lost what I have..BUT I have been stuck losing and gaining the same 4 pounds for a month now. I am about 45-50 pounds from my goal weight. Does anyone have any suggestions for me? I have increased my protein intake using nectar and champion stack. I have cut back on my carbs.. I just can't seem to make the scale move anymore and I just don't want to be done yet! Thanks for any suggestions! Donna 308/207/165ish

Congratulations on your pregnancy! Have you visited the Post op pregnancy board on here? You can access it by clicking on the Communities link at the top of the page and then selecting it under one of the drop down boxes...I can't think of the exact one though. Good luck and I hope you have an easy delivery of a happy healthy baby! Kristy 254/148/130

I agree with Dawn. Call your doctor again. Are you currently taking any iron supplements? *~Amber~*
