Hi guys
You all are doing great! I am down from 24/26 to a 12 pants and top! Weight, from 271 to 165. It feels wonderful!
I still have a bit of a groucy pouch. No sugar, no fried foods, chips, or high seasoned foods.

Thrilling, isn't it? I am so happy for you also.
I used to wear a size 30, and I am in a 16/18 now. Even smaller in some other things. But my tall frame will prevent me from ever being a size 6! LOL
Also....I told my husband that stuffed crust pizza would also prevent me from ever being a size 6! I know I will be slim one day, but I won't ever be skinny!!!
Good luck and congratulations!

Topic: RE: Baggy eyes
I'm having a similar problem. Not so much baggy, but dark circles under my eyes are not pretty! I'm going through concealer like nothing else!
My guess is that our bodies are still grasping at straws for good nutrition, so the body has to slack back in some areas, and maybe the skin tone around the eyes is one of those areas? Maybe like our hair loss, the body just doesn't consider the skin around the eyes very important, and so it kind of lets it "go."
I recently purchased a Facial Flex gizmo from QVC, and it should be shipped this week. It is supposed to help you exercise your facial muscles and improve skin and muscle tone. I'll have to let you guys know how it works after I try it.
I'm still taking my vitamins though. Are you taking yours also? Hopefully this will help some, and maybe in time, our bodies will "catch up" and we won't notice the sag and the discoloration any more.

Topic: RE: Challenge: Countdown to Vacation!
I've only lost one pound so far this week, but the good news is that I've lost 1/2 inch in my waist! I am thrilled!
Maybe this week, I will notice a weight loss reduction. But, I am still far more concerned with losing inches than I am losing pounds. The pounds will come and go, but the inches are what really matter!
Congratulations on your 4 1/2 pounds. That's awesome. I'm glad you want to do this challenge with me. I like having support when I'm challenging myself.

I am at a plateau. I have been 265 for 3 weeks now. Lately one of my favorite things to eat is Lunchables. I can eat the whole thing. I also like to order nachos from Taco Bell. Or a fish or chicken sandwich from Micky Ds without the bun. I have also eaten a cheeseburger without the top bun.

Topic: RE: Any 8/13ers out there?
Hi Lisa,
I have a daughter named Lissa also, sounds the same but as you can see I spelled it differently., pretty name I think. I too had my surgery that week on 8/12, I started at 319 now 206, down a total of 113lbs. I have not lost any weight in over 3 wks and I am starting to feel as if my hunger is coming back like it used to before surgery, not feeling full on the 3/4cup the Doc says that I can eat now. I do need to get in more water, only getting 35-40 ozs on most days. I am not sure if my hot tea counts, if it does I drink 2 cups a day of that also. Has anyone else had their night hunger come back? I am really feeling hungery most of the time anymore and I am using all my willpower and headgames I can think of.
I am hoping that now that we can get out into the yard and do gardening, which I feel so much better at doing now will help to start more weight loss along with getting in more WATER. Sorry so long but you sound like you are doing all the right things so just keep up the great work!!!!

HEY NORMA'
MAN I THOUGHT IT WAS JUST ME........ I AM GLAD IT ISN'T, I GUESS THAT MEANS THERE IS STILL HOPE! JUST THE LAST FEW WEEKS I HAVE ACTUALLY FELT HUNGRY, AND I CAN'T WAIT UNTIL A MEAL TIME, AND A FEW TIMES I ACTUALLY CAUGHT MYSELF EATING WHEN I WASN'T HUNGRY! THAT IS WHAT SCARED ME THE MOST!
I HAVE ALSO FOUND THAT SUGARS AND FATS DON'T SEEM TO BOTHER ME AS MUCH, SOMETIMES THEY STILL DO, THANK GOD, BUT I STILL WISH THAT I HAD NOT DISCOVERED THAT!
I AM EATING SUNFLOWER SEEDS LIKE CRAZY TRYING TO ARREST MY SNACK DEVIL, MOST TIMES IT WORKS BUT NOW I AM WONDERING IF I AM ACTUALLY TRAINING MYSELF TO CONSTANTLY EAT BY CHEWING SEEDS ALL OF THE TIME....
HOW HAVE YOU BEEN COPING WITH THE EATING CHAGES... ANY IDEAS? SHARE GIRL, SHARE! LOL

HEY SHELLEY...
WE HAVE SOMTHING IN COMON, WE BOTH WERE REPAIRED ON THE SAME DAY, AND WE WERE ALMOST AT THE SAME START WEIGHT. I THINK IT IS INTRESTING TO SEE SOMEONE THAT I HAVE CERTAIN SIMILARITIES WITH AND TO SEE THEIR PROGRESS! COOL HUH.
ANY HOW I TOO AM ADDICTED TO SEEDS, I GO THROUGH ABOUT TWO BAGS A DAY. AND I CAN ONLY EAT THE FRITO LAY KIND, YOU KNOW THE GREEN BAG THAT IS 99 CENTS, ALL OF THE OTHER ONES TASTE STALE...
ANY HOW MY DOC SAYS THEY ARE FINE YOU KNOW, PROTIEN, PROTIEN, PROTIEN, PROTIEN AND MY DENTIST SAID THAT THEY REALLY WON'T HURT YOUR TEETH, HE SAID IF YOUR TEETH BREAK OR CRACK OR FALL OUT BECAUSE OF A SUNFLOWER SEED THEN YOUR TEETH HAD BIGGER PROBLEMS TO START WITH ! THAT MAKES SENSE BUT I HOPE HE RELIZED HOW MANY SEEDS I AM ACTUALLY EATING!
I AM REALLY GETTING ADDICTED, IT IS REAL SCARRY. THE OTHER DAY ME AND MY FAMILY WERE ON A ROAD TRIP AND I FINISHED OFF MY FIRST BAG OF THE DAY, AFTER ABOUT AN HOUR WE WERE ABOUT 75 MILES FROM THE NEAREST STORE AND I ALMOST ASKED MY HUSBAND IF HE COULD SEE ANY WAYWARD SEEDS FLOATING AROUND THE CAR.... EWWWE I SAID I ALMOST ASKED.....
