Topic: What did you eat today?
I see that alot of us are having problems with snacking and grazing. I certainly am. I am finding myself hungry more often now, and oh my is that scary. And besides that my scale is wacky LOL. I thought we could check in daily and tell each other what we ate today. That might help us stay on track. Miss Dolly does this on the main board but I thought it might be more intimate here with all of us in the same stage. So here goes................. What did you eat today? B-8 oz. FF Carbcoutdown Milk w/Carb Conscious Carnation Instant Breakfast S-1/2 South beach diet chocolate cereal bar L-3 Slices of Turkey bacon and 1/2 piece of toast S-1/2 South beach diet chocolate bar and 10 Turkey pepperonis D-Crunchy Taco from taco bell I also had 4 Ranch Doritos, they were in my kitchen and I couldn't resist. I have got to stop this nonsense or I will never get to goal! --------will probably have a sf philly swirl later on Have a great night everyone! I'll check in tomorrow! Look forward to seeing responses so please join in. --Marianne 256/152-154 (scale is crazy lol)/140-goal 120-dream

Topic: RE: Pain Symptoms
Hi Lisa. I hope you start feeling better! Gosh, having my RNY on 8-25-04 and then my gallbladder removal March 28th, I could swear those are the exact symptoms I had. I wonder if it's possible that they just can't see the stones, or maybe it's a teeny tiny stone in your biliary duct. Follow through with your doctor on a daily basis! I first experienced the pain in February and ignored it, then a month later it came back with a vengence and I ended up having pancreatitis and being in the hospital for 5 days with nothing to eat or drink, on the 5th day they took out my gallbladder once my labs came back okay. You may have to be "pushy" with them. Hope things get better for you real soon! Cathy BTW, your weight stats are awesome!

I had surgery in the midwest and almost immediately moved to San Jose CA. I really need to find a support group in my area as well as a bariatric specialist that takes BCBS to see for follow ups , does anyone have any recomendations ? Thanks !

Topic: RE: I want to eat all the time
Another trick I heard was if you are craving something specific, to put it out for your next meal. That way instead of snacking on it, it becomes part of your meal and you are not depriving yourself of whatever it is. That is one of the things I have been trying because I am wanting to eat all the time as well. Susan

Please don't stay away! I look for your posts all the time. He should be proud of you just as much as you should be proudd of yourself as we are of you. I am sticking at 154 but am now wearing 6's on the bottoms so I guess the inches are still coming somehow. I have decided to hire a personal trainer to whip me into better shape. I love working out but sometimes I need that person in my face. He is an award winning body builder who my hubby used to be shipmates with. He got out of the Navy and now owns gyms. A little pricy but for a tight bod, I will, didn't come this far to be flabby. Between him and the plastic surgeon this fall I should be smokin. LOL!

Topic: RE: Saggy skin!!!
I could fly like a kite in the sky with the amount of extra arm skin I have...... the worst part is I have stretch marks on the skin, too, that look REALLY HOT when I'm wearing short sleeves. A size medium shirt fits me just fine, except in the sleeves---ICK! I'm hoping with exercise and time the skin will get better, and if not, I'll definitely be seeing a plastic surgeon before too long! Lots of love, Dawn 257/154/140?
