I haven't dropped any weight in the last 2 months either. I wonder if I done, and I still need to lose 60 pounds. It scares me sometimes, and I feel like I failed. But I have joined a gym in the past 2 weeks and although the scale still has started moving again, I will keep going and hope it does.
I understand completely how you feel.
Let's hang in there and just keep trying.

Your pictures are amazing.. you look wonderful....
Day of surgery I was wearing a 18/20... today I am in a size 8.... never in my life have I been below a size 13.... NEVER... boy does it feel great...
I just moved into a new house with a swimming pool so I am going to start doing water aerobics.. havent been to the gym since April... I really need to get back to it...
My goal is 120 my doctor said I am at his goal.... and he will release me in July to start looking for plastic surgeons.... I already know I want a tummy tuck and boob job... the boobs are pretty much sagging... went from a 44DD to a 36 B.... I just want them to be perky....lol... and for the tummy.. I have had 2 c-sections and a hystorectomy so I know I have no muscle there... I want a flat stomach.... going to be 40 in July so I want to look my best for my 40's... I know I plan on having surgery in Dec.
We are all doing such a wonderful job... Keep up the good work

Still sitting at 154, went up to 159 but that was before my cycle and it freaked me right out. So I am glad they came back off. still in a 6-8. I only have 9 pounds till my goal of 145. I was wanting 138 but I came to the conculsion that I will look ill at that weight. But may get there this fall after plastics. I have my consult on July 6th and they said surgery probably in October.

Hi all,
My husband had open rny on 8/16/2004. He is down 218 pounds since then. He is really frustrated because he hasn't lost much weight over
the last couple of months. He has gone from a 5X shirt to an X Large
and from a size 60 pants to a size 44 and still he complains. But on the bright side we have been on the go since mid-April. We have taken several extended trips and have enjoyed all of them. Losing the weight has been good for him but he still says the surgery wasn't worth it. I
don't know if he is serious or just trying to annoy me.
Thanks,
Kris
Topic: Drinking with meals....
Hello all
i have heard a million different reasons why we shouldn't eat and drink at the same time (fills the pouch so you can't get enough food, moves the food through too quickly, stretches the pouch and on and on and on....)and was wondering if anyone out there could give me the REAL reason once and for all!
This is a real problem for me, as i find myself literally going NUTS for a drink when i am eating... sometimes i'd rather have my water than finish my plate... lol
Thanks
Laurie

95 pounds lost

I am in the same boat. I have been the same weight since early April. I keep beating myself up over this. I've increased my water, and exercise but still am not losing. My surgeon says 20 more lbs, but my body seems to be saying - no more! I am very happy with my size (14) and comfortable with this loss (right at 100 lbs) but my dr says 20 more. So I'm working at it. Hang in there. You are not alone.

Hi Judy and all the 8/16ers,
I am down 104 lbs now, and feeling wonderful. I don't think I will make my goal of losing 23 more lbs by the 1 year mark.but that is ok, It may have been an unrealistic goal. I am down to a size 10 and medium-large shirt and I look pretty good. I think that to lose 23 more lbs might make me look emaciated and old. I don't consider myself at goal now but I am not sure what to set it for. I am exercising every day and really watching what I eat. I am more concerned with maintaining and toning up right now and can see the results in inches and clothing rather than numbers on the scale.

Things are moving slow now. It is so frustrating. I had hoped to make goal by the 1 year mark but am not so sure I'll make it anymore. I'm not giving up though. I have come to far for that non sense.
I am down 135.5 lbs. and have 32.5 lbs. to goal.
