Topic: Out of the 200s forever! Yay 199!
Finally hit it yesterday morning, but didn't want to post it until today when I could be sure it wasn't a fluke of the scale! 199 lbs.! Lowest adult weight ever! Hooray!! I still have enough to go yet to not be celebrating too much, but this was my most recent goal, and I wanted to share it! Yay for this surgery! This makes 112 pounds and from a 26W to a 10 already! Yep, I'm already wearing my size 10 jeans at 199...no idea what size I will be wearing when I hit goal (which I don't even know what that is really, I would like to see 154 to be "normal", but we'll see)! Just wanted to share. :D ~Stacy

Hey all, I am down to 167 for a total weight lose of 113 lbs. I am 17 lbs away from goal but, the weight is coming off slower than any snails race. I scheduled to have another consult with my PS next week. My tummy tuck and breast lift are scheduled for July 6, 2005. Happy losing. Leslie 280/167/150

Topic: RE: Calorie intake?
Kristy, Great question.....can I ask you for some advice? When you eat out, what do you get? My work goes out once a week and I find myself taking my own lunch. I do not want to do that anymore....like at Del Taco and places, what do you get? As far as your poll goes, here are my answers.... 1. About how many calories do you take in on an average day? 1200 or so, sometimes I do as low as 600...depends on the day! 2. How many times a day do you eat? 4-5 3. How many of those are meals and how many are snacks? 1-2 Thanks a bunch!!

Hi Kristy! I eat 5-6 times a day. I consider each time to be a meal. My total calories seem to average 1100 calories per day, + or - 100 cal. on any given day. I, too, sometimes worry that I'm eating too much. I always have at least 60 grams of protein and 100 oz. of water. I am not sure about the amount of carbs or fats. I probably have too many carbs, though. Maybe 40 grams a day for the carbs. My weight loss seems to go in a pattern every month. I lose a couple of pounds at the beginning of the month and then hold for the next 10 days. Then I lose about 5-6 pounds at the end of the month. Right now I'm in the 10 day holding pattern. Every month I get a bit anxious even though I know this is what my body does. Still, I have lost 8-12 pounds every month so far. Polly 355/202/155

Topic: RE: I want to eat all the time
Hi everyone ~ I'm only just now seeing this post from May 17th, but it really hits home. I, too, have been struggling with wanting to eat the wrong things and wanting to graze. I could nibble on things all day long. It's scary so I'm relieved to know that many of us August babies are struggling with this as well. Maybe something about the 9-10 month anniversary?? Janne

Topic: RE: Calling All 8/3'ers! It's Our 10 Month Anniversary! Post An Update!!
Hi all ~ I was so pleased to see this post from the August 3rd Gang! I've lost 90 pounds and am feeling great about it. My weight loss has slowed down considerably though, and I've only lost 15 pounds in the past 3 months. I'm not exercising regularly. I know rationally that this makes a big difference for me, but it's not helping me exercise. I'm also not getting my full protein in regularly. Any motivational thoughts or words of encouragement will be appreciated. In the meantime, being 90 pounds lighter is a great relief. I have 25 more to go to reach what I think is my goal. Never having been at that low a weight before, I'm not really sure what a realistic goal is for me. But right now, I'm thinking 25 more pounds. Congrats to us all! Janne

Laurie: Sounds like there isn't only one reason! I don't like to drink with meals because I get hungrier again earlier. I don't know the *real* reason, but it seems like my food goes through quicker when I drink. Having said that, I don't think a little sip here and there is going to make that big of a difference. Hey, Shelley, you *rock*! Congrats!!!! Not to steal your thunder, but I actually weigh *exactly* what my driver's license says.... For 20 years I've been listing my weight as 175 lbs. - even though I was up to 306 lbs last year. I looked at my license the other day and finally realized I WASN'T LYING!!!!!
