Hi Kristy, My weight loss has taken a detour in the last 2 weeks, but I think it is because I was on vacation and retained a lot of fluid. MY RNY was 8-2. I've gone from 355 to 194. I've lost 20 inches each on my hips and on my waist. I just bought pants today in size 16, which thrilled me. I started out wearing tight size 38 pants. I also bought size medium t-shirts. (Obvously, I'm a pear! I'd like to lose between 20 and 40 more pounds, which might not make me a skinny-mini, but it sure sounds good to me! Polly 355/194/155

Hi Tiffany, I totally agree with you about preferring to get a thigh lift instead of a tummy tuck. Heck, I would really love to have both, but if I had to choose, I would choose the thighs. I can hide my tummy in bathinsuits and skirts, but those damn thighs! GRRRR! I really don't track my calories like I should. I recently started logging my daily food intake so I have a rough estimate. If I continue to drop and am unable to maintain, I will definitely be precise when calorie counting so I can increase/decrease/tweak as necessary. Thanks so much for saying that I am an inspiration! That is such the ultimate compliment and you made my day! You are a sweetheart. Hugs, Denise

Looks like everyone is doing awesome!!! I started out at 521 pounds. I am now 336. So I have lost 185 so far. My goal is to get under 200 and then start talking about plastic sugrgery for all this excess skin! I went from a size 6X (some of them tight) to a 2X top and 26/28 bottom. I now exercise 6 hours a week, but I am getting ready to bump that up soon, too. I couldn't be happier. Now if I could just break this plateau that I'm on.... *~Amber~*

Hi Tiffany... thanks for posting this... I love reading how everyone is doing.... Lets see for me.... I had my first surgery on 8/4/98 vbg and had to have a revision since I was sick all the time... throwing up.... didnt lose weight.... had 6 dilatations done.... lived that way for 6 years and then decided to look into having a revision... so on 8/3/04 had my revision done... I was weighing 205 on that day... with the first surgery I weighed in at 227.... so that would be my highest weight.... wearing a tight 18/20 in tops and pants... 44 D bra.... As of today I am weighing 135... size 8 but I am going shopping this weekend for my birthday... 40th... and my 8's are loose so I know I will be in a 6... never in my life have I been in single digit clothes... The skin part bothers me but I know in Dec. I will be having a tt and boob job.... legs arent too bad... neither are the arms... there is some skin but not enough that I dont wear sleevleless shirts or shorts.... I went to Hawaii in April and had a blast... I was able to keep up with my 16 year old and his friend and my husband... hiked up Diamond Head... didnt make it to the top cause I am closterphobic (sp) and you had to crawl through a tunnel... just couldnt even try it..... so I didnt make it to the top... almost though.... I wish I would have done the revision years ago... but I am happy where I am right now.... my personal goal is 120 but my doctor said he is happy with me at 140... I already passed that.... Keep up the great work everyone..... Debra 227/205/135/120 goal (almost there)

Ruthy, Give it a shot...10 minutes 3 times a week is all it takes. I'm going to do it that way for a month, and then up it after that. I'll keep everyone posted as to my results. Take care! JUDY
