Hi Jen, NSAIDS are a no-no for Rny. They cause stomach ulsers. There is something in the NSAIDS that needs the stomach acids to digest and with no stomach acids in the upper part of the stomach, they eat the lining up. One person at our clinic took only one and got an ulser and bled so much. Others can take them for a few days only. Not worth the risk for me. I take B, Iron, Calcium, Folic acid, D and a multi vitamen daily. I also heard that the iron pills effect the throid. Have you heard of that? Thanks for answering. Marie

Hi Jamie, You have done great! I had my surgery on 8/12 and started at 360 pounds. I am now at 192 , so i have lost the exact same as you so far, 168 pounds. Hugs Linda

Hi all fellow loosers! I am surprised that I don't have all the energy that loosing 124 pounds should have given me. Anyone else feel tired? I miss my ibuprofin too. I think that the NSAIDS made me feel so much better in the joints that stopping it may be why I feel major joint pain. I swim and that is pain free, walking is ok, but stairs are terrable!!!! I can hardly pick up my right foot to put shoes on! Did I always have this pain but the ibuprofin masked it? What does everyone take for pain? Tylenol does nothing for me. And so tired too. I go for my checkup on my anniversary, last checked out at 6 months. I hear some people get bloodwork done much more often. Thanks for listening, Marie P.S.
