I think a lot of us struggle with this. I have been up and down the same 20 lbs. for the last several months, and I'm sick and tired of it. I feel like I can eat WAY more than I should be able to eat, and that depresses me. It's funny that I came on here today, I used to be very diligent and coming here and reading and posting, but have not for a long time. Just this morning I have had it! My sister is getting married July 2nd and had the surgery as well, long after me and has lost WAY more weight than me and is in a size 8 misses. ME, well, I'm still a fat cow in my opinion and in anywhere from a 16W to a 20W. I really want to lose about 45 lbs between now and July 2, and I k now that is very aggressive, but I need to get my butt into gear. I'm going back to basics. Today I had my protein shake for breakfast, 46 g of protein, for snack I have an Atkins Advantage Bar and an Atkins Advantage Shake, and also have reduced fat ritz crakers with me, a banana and a Campbell's soup at hand. I'm hoping I can stick to this regimen. Maybe if I do this for a couple of weeks, my pouch will shrink? Is it possible I have stretched my pouch? I'm babbling, sorry.... I really feel like I have failed at this whole Gastric Bypass thing. Judy 359/244.8/185??? (hopefully someday, but doubt it)
