Hi all, I asked this on the PS board but would like your take as well. I am scheduled for a Bilateral Medial Thigh lift and Arm lift on Jan. 3rd. I am convinced on the arms as I hate them the most but I waver on the legs. They look horrible and need to be done but I am so nervous about the pain that comes with them. How bad is the pain really? Does Vicodin really control it? Will I be able to sit on the toilet and take care of my personal needs myself or will I need help? This is my first real surgery as my GBP and Gallbladder removal were LAP. Nervous wreak Christie 338/165/ 5 below goal

I'm not sure...I plan on having a bidirectional tummy tuck, breast lift/augmentation, medial thigh lift and lipo under the armpits after the baby. Good luck and I hope that your pain is minimal! Kristy RNY 8/3/04 254/135/140 EDD 8/8/06

Well I don't know, but I have had a c-section and have heard it is worse than that. And that was pretty bad. The gastric by pass was nothing compared to my c-section. I could use a tummy tuck and boob lift , but I am not that bad, I have lost 105 and weigh 115. I think I am going to stick to my tight panties! LOL I am just a baby about pain. Good Luck. Let me know how it goes. I really would like to know. Pain meds make me sick and so does being put to sleep.
