Hi Marianne! I started out with a BMI of about 60 and now it is around 29, and I've lost 190 total. I am about 25 pounds from goal and I have not lost an ounce in a few weeks. Since last June, I've lost only 25 pounds. I have been bouncing between 179 and 181. I am a bit discouraged. I'm thankful for all I've lost, but I don't want to stop this close to my goal! I'm still losing about 1/2 to 1 1/2 pounds a week for a total of 140 lbs. I am a few pounds away from my goal...150. I need to start thinking about going to get a small unfill to maintian the weight. I had a great experience with the lapband...not one complication!!!! Michelle 292/152/150

Hey There, I was losing great and was about 30lbs from goal when I found out I was pregnant. I am 5 months pregnant now and have gained four pounds. I am not worried though because I am confident in my skills I learned pre-pregnancy. I know how much a human should be eating now and I always try to eat protein before anything else. I figure I will be at my goal before next summer, but with a beautiful baby to love too! I couldn't be happier with my loss and look forward to some PS after baby. Much Love, Shelli

I stopped losing a month or month 1/2 ago. I made my doctors goal of 177 at 10 months out and dropped an additional 20 pounds after that. I am really happy where I stopped at, from a size 26 to a size 6, I never thought I would say a size without a 1 in the front of it. Tracey 327/157

No, I haven't lost any weight in a couple of months. It's my own fault--I never exercise, and I eat probably 3000 calories a day. I just haven't felt motivated in a while. I've reached my own personal goals, so not really sure I WANT to lose anymore weight. Taking a break, I guess. -joanne s 277/160/150

I am down to 152, not my doctor's goal, but I like myself just as I am. I go up and down a couple pounds, which gets to me, but I am happy and healthy. I do not get my water in as I should and I have added small bits of potatoes and rice with meals. Pre-op starches would add pounds, sooo what can I say. I also found sugar does not affect me, bad news! I just stay away from anything with sugar. Marla 274/152/145(per doctor)

Pretty much stuck at 75% of goal. I'm 154. 150-151 on a good day! LOL! Eating well, feel good, but - - DARN - - wish I could at least get into the "NORMAL" category on the BMI chart! How frustrating.
